yes if you dont have it then you dont go high enough to clear the ledge. you can use mountaintop to boost yourself up but you dont clear the ledge you just mantle onto it

@@xfritzthecatx3782 Dul Incaru is coded weirdly, so she takes extra damage from wardcliff. Without going into the ins and outs of it it's the same reason that Hashladuun and the Deathsingers used to take so much damage. The only difference is bungie patched those two but not Dul Incaru for some reason.
Where do you see them skipping anything? Getting to the ogre early isn't skipping since his team has to duo the first encounter to avoid a soft lock at the door, bozo!
This type of skating is intended. Unintended movement bugs get patched, an example of a bug is the titan stasis skating on the release of beyond light. Now stop crying and cope.
It is an exploit but it doesn't make the achievement less impressive. They wouldn't be capable of doing a run like this without first being more than able to do the dungeon legit. There's different categories for speed runs just focused around whether or not glitches are used
It is 100% a glitch/exploit. But there is no denying the extreme level of skill on display here. If you restricted the players to not use skating, or OoBs or anything like that, they and a load of other guys would use way lower skill to all achieve very similar times, where they each take a second or two to insta-merc bosses and take the optimal pathing from A to B. The winners would probably be decided by lucky RNG. Give them a round of applause you miserable git.
it’s clear your vision of speedrunning is going for a casual stroll instead of going as fast as humanly possible. but fortunately you have no authority on what counts as a speedrun and none of the excellent and skilled runners in the community need to be lowered to your standards. cheers!

no, was just told to put it on japanese and I didnt change it back to english until recently. This and the DSC run both happened around the same time.
