Saw these lads on their first US tour (June 1994/Detroit, MI). Great band.

Saw them in Utrecht in 1999.
I was stoned as hell, and didn't know that there was an opening act. I only knew their first album. The opening act blew my mind away. I did not know any of the songs of course, but thought it was Tindersticks playing. It was superb.
When the opening act ended, i was shocked to find out that it wasn't Tindersticks playing that whole time.
That opening act was Arab Strap.
I don't remember much of the Tindersticks show, but i still love their first album.
