- Tromsø is one of the best places in the world to see the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights. This wonderful natural phenomenon occurs in high latitude regions, including Tromsø, due to the interaction of solar particles with the Earth's atmosphere.
Tromsø, a city located in the northern part of Norway, in the Arctic region of the country. It is the capital of the municipality of Troms and is one of the largest urban settlements in northern Norway. The city is known for its stunning natural beauty and its privileged position above the Arctic Circle.
One of the most notable aspects of Tromsø is the aurora borealis, the natural phenomenon where the sky is lit up in stunning colors, including green, pink and purple, due to solar particles interacting with the Earth's atmosphere. This phenomenon can be observed during the winter, especially during the period when the nights are the longest

Fell in love with Norway and Scandinavia, I would move there except I cannot speak the languages. I have somewhat of a Scandinavian soul. It is expensive to live there, as there is a highly educated populace, and therefore most salaries are high. Plan to visit again; however.
Great video and amazing shots of the Northern Lights, I'd have loved to have seen some longer shots of those!
Thank you! 😊
Reportedly, the Norther Lights are only visible for a few seconds then disappear; then reappear later. Chasing them is like chasing a chimera. If they appear, you can set your camera on slo mo to capture them.
I love Tromsø. I was there for two weeks in March 2022 and was smitten. I went back for a month this past July 2023, and I hope to return next Winter for a three month visa stay. You music choice may be much to be desired by others, but what I did was to mute the sound on your video and on another channel I simultaneously played Assassin´s Creed Ambiance while viewing your beautifully edited video. For me it brought back fond memories. Thank you for sharing. I subscribed because I want to view your other videos.
Thanks for watching!
Love some atmospheric music. The world is probably evolving into a monoculture due to AI.
Easy to get really spendy in some of these stores with beautiful merch if you are not on a budget. LOL.
Agreed :D
Thank you for the video !! I thoroughly enjoyed travelling with you. The views and scenes are beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it!
What month was this?
October 2023
This is a wonderful video. The music sucked the big one though. Relaxing to watch but hideous music.
Hi Richard, we will take in consideration your feedback! Thank you!
Play true Norwegian black metal next time… just kidding
Agree. The music was not great for this video.
Such beautiful scenery and such disgusting music that I can't seem to silence. Shame as I would probably subscribe otherwise.
Thank you for feedback! We will take that in consideration! And thanks for watching!
A country with spectacular natural beauty and natural shows, some great people, and amazing animals should have Norwegian music. Urban music is great, and I love it; however, it is not Norwegian. Nevertheless, urban music is heard throughout in Scandinavian countries.
