I think you should have made sure the guy you slept with took a test to prove he’s not HIV positive and not just believe him by word of mouth. I have witnessed instances where people for fear of being stigmatised have denied being positive to those they infected with the virus only to be proven by Tests that it was them that actually infected the victims. So brave of you to have come out to tell your story. Just had to Subscribe to your Channel and I wish you all the best with whatever the future holds for you.🙏❤️💕

@@leodelicious865that’s just his words and she believed him. There is no way a patient could have given her this virus. It was spread through sexual contact.

I agree that she should of asked him to take a test and let her see the results ppl lie all the time. I believe I’ve been infected by my partner, my child’s father and he’s still saying he hasn’t slept with anybody else but I haven’t slept with anybody else in 3 1/2 almost 4 years. I literally feel like I just came out of postpartum to now be facing a HIV scare 2024 hasn’t been easy

The standard of care once a suspected HIV exposure is to start the drugs (HAART) whether u test positive or not for at least one month and the do a retest abt 6-18months later...

I'm so confused,is pep not a thing in Nigeria?? Because if your coworker was so concerned that you have been infected with HIV why didn't she give you a pill that day?? If you had been infected the pep pill would've made it impossible for the HIV to get to your cells and you would've been fine... This bc story is so weird to me,but nevertheless I'm glad you got through the rough patch and it's inspiring to see people like you beating the hell out of HIV. Keep going and keep your head up you got this.

The guy might be the one to give you this virus. Just because he said no doesn’t mean he was being honest. Hospital to patient transmission is very rare unless you poked the patient’s syringe into your arms. Don’t they teach people hospital safety concerns in med schools?

U could have gotten it from that woman, that u tested negative doesn't mean u were not positive, it is called window period. Secondly, u could have gotten it from the guy u had sex with, maybe he doesn't want to let u know that he is positive, or maybe he didn't even do the test to know if he was positive or not. U could have gotten it from the salon too, but it is not how u got it that matters, but how u regulate it. As it is now, are u in an undetected stage, try and find a way to counsel people more on ur channel so they know what to expect that HIV is not a death sentence.

Even with condoms, one can still contact HIV, and it's not only sex that one can contact the disease. Infact some children who haven't even known about sex have the disease, so no need putting blames on anybody, just try and encourage them.
