wow 7:30 how the hell do you lose to a hunter. watching you cast poison dispell literally hurt my soul. totem instantly dispells when played and costs less mana than the spell cast to dispell if you got the resto talents for totems *face palm*. horrible coulda cast one totem and been done with it xD wtf
@@travisr2309 not true. Remove poinson is instant, the totem removes poisons every 3 seconds (Not instantly) so him using remove poison is better then getting a viper sting proc Stop being a hater, go watch something else If your not entertained.

@@TeBeezY they suck at pvp in general unless you like the rng one shot here and there on bad players . Any player with just decent amount of pvp knowledge will out perform you in general. But still if you very skilled you can do okay. Try check out bloodskull. he is very skilled with an enhan shaman .
TBakes907 Mr J. Is actually incorrect. Enhancement is completely fine in duels and pvp. You just have to play smart and well and know the game. I was rank 14 shaman in vanilla as enhancement and currently enhancement in classic as well and I have no issues with anything in pvp. RNG applies to everything in game not just enhancement and WF. Ele shaman relies on RNG from crits to be effective. Engineering greatly helps close the gaps that enhancement lacks so you must definitely pick that up.

I am loving your content. All the commentary content is so educational, and it has made me a better PvP'er, even tho I have played and PvP'ed since closed beta. Never too old to learn, ey?!
Lately I have gotten very psyked about the shaman, and I have been asking around and also reading up on a lot of race advice for the elemental shaman. Generally ppl tend to go towards Tauren for elem due to the warstomp + LHW or CL shock combos, but then, everyone I see at the top level, plays Orc. I always looked at stomp as the reliable tool, where Orcs stunresist is a bit more RNG.
What was your reason for choosing Orc?
Also, what do you think is that hardest match-up for the elem shaman for 1v1s?

Zenith292 To be quite honest the rank 14 sham was god awful lol. Rank 14 just means you play a lot in premades. Doesn’t equate to skill as we saw in video.

@@Zenith292 It's actually not. Since we have no way to know what gear that rank 14 shaman has, all we can go off is the visuals. So it seems he is wearing the full rank 12 & 13 armor set, he has the rank 14 shield and the 1h mace from BWL.
I went on sixtyupgrades and did a comparison with Executus full armor set and enchants from the video. Any off the off piece items like rings and trinkets i left the same on the rank 14 comparison set and i left the enchants the same as well.
And what we get is a difference of 670 HP, 15 mana, +93 spell damage, +35 healing spell, and believe it or not the rank 14 is missing 2% crit in comparison.
So it's actually not that far off as you would think.

Can someone update this for TBC?
For example, blind is no longer a poison so there's no way out other than trinket I believe. Is there a reason to keep rank 1 lightning bolts for procs anymore? I suppose just for mana efficiency... Also, does grounding totem still stop hunter traps?
I might do this for TBC, but I need a 70 shaman. Its still a very similar duel, only difference would be trinketing blind vs a kidney shot or something. Poison cleansing totem is still essential against rogues. Yes, grounding still absorbs hunter traps. Mana efficiency would come from Water Shield spam.

It can be, but the fights are long and I generally try to conserve mana as much as possible.

something i find quite funny though is that people never step out of shadow form, and they never mana burn. i duelled a friend a lot and he was shadow spec but he just didnt bother with shadow form. wand and mana burn wins far more duels than trying to do full dps ... but nobody does it

At 5:20, besides the looks, is there a reason for drink a noggenfogger?
The skeleton is for asthetics.. The slow fall effect can be useful.. Some people also stack shitty buffs before their main ones since they will be purged 1st by the shaman.. The skeleton is really only for looks though, the spell purge reason is a moot point as it was a rogue.

In Classic it's a poison. Shamans can dispell poisons through totem or spell

Wtf war with Ashkandi was doing just 550-610 crits? Where is his fcking dmg? There is no way to do so low dps to shammy if warrior is geared up well.
