Both fighters can only win one way, one could end it at any round and the other, can win by decision. Whoever's game plan is correctly implemented will win the fight.
Looked like Haney could of EASILY stopped that fight at any moment after round 2 to me but didn’t roll the dice simply because he knew he didn’t need to and could beat him up and just clean him out if he got into a situation. You honestly still think Haney couldn’t have won by stoppage had he had any reason to stray from discipline? Tbh I genuinely thought he’d go for a 12 round beat down like he did but accidentally stop Regis like he nearly respect to Regis he got guts!
@@anyguy8040 I highly doubt that Haney could have ended it in the early rounds, not really a smart move. He didn't play Prograis' game which is the best approach. He fought a perfect fight and that's how he won and that's what happened. Regis just couldn't close the gap fast enough, Devin was two steps ahead every time and had the better leg movement too. This is the best Haney I've seen to date.
