Heyo!!
I've always wanted to film a fully real time video of my drawing process, but I've always been scared that you guys wouldn't like it... I finally decided to just do it!! And make a really chill video, with some light talking, not much going on, just me drawing and sketching some stuff peacefully... I enjoyed filming this, and I hope you enjoy watching it too! Also, thank you once again to Lousy Ink for sending me all of these goodies!!

You had mentioned that you were worried we would think this video is boring, but honestly I love these! They are so relaxing, and they're long enough so that I can also sketch along with you! Your personality and overall vibe is really calming (in my opinion at least), and I can just zone out, draw, and listen. Sometimes art videos can be sort of loud and/or attention grabbing, and it can make it difficult to concentrate on my doodles. Your video is just so perfect to have on in the background!! Its also really fun to see how you sketch and doodle in real time, soooo yeah! I really enjoy these sketch and chat videos!! They're probably some of my favorite videos to watch! :D
I completely agree!! Then occasionally looking up and seeing super inspiring art just makes me want to draw so much more!!
Agreed, waes’s voice is just very calm and soothing :) it’s very nice to have as a background video to sketch and draw with. Her voice can literally make anyone fall asleep. Literally. Also, her art style is so amazing! It’s unique, beautiful, and overall.. she’s very skilled in drawing!

You mentioned the ink spreading a lot since it's water based, but I think some of the problem might also be caused by the type of paper you are using. Different paper yields different results; some absorb more than than others.
I use water based inks with my pen nibs for drawing sometimes and with the type of paper I use, I don't encounter this issue too often. I recommend trying it out with other papers and see if that fixes it.

Exactly my thoughts! Like I’m sure the ink is lovely, and maybe I’m wrong, but that paper looks crazy smooth, and just not really the type of paper for a water based ink.
Though I’m not an expert of course.
so I feel like maybe if they gave it another shot but did some research on what paper to use, that’d be a good idea! But who knows-just a (somewhat) educated suggestion. (Lol). x3

Your girls look fabulous. I used to print off my work to colour it .I used to make designer cards .I found if the printer ink is left to dry over night it never moved Sheen I came in to colour the next day or two.,or if I heat set it with a hair dryer and left it for a few hrs.Play with it a little .It’s the same ink it may work.The pen with the nib it’s best to dip it into the ink ,put small amount into a mixing pallet and dip into that.There’s less ink so more even.Also move your fingers back from the nib and your pressing lighter on the nib so the lines will be thinner.I learnt how to write with one of these pens as a child at school.Once we went to joined up writing we were given a pen like this .I am more than likely older than your Grandmother lol!.. hope this helps ..Love n Light 🥰

Oh I thought Lousy Ink was waterproof? 😯 I think their website says so. But it is possible for water based ink to be water proof, Sakura Microns are :D

Maybe they make the ink with recycled sources (i don't know if what I'm saying makes sense 😅)
@@lorena3849 maybe they take whatever ink Is leftover from recycled pens or printer ink cartridges and collect it.
@@FishyFishSalmonFish yes since some sources aren't recycled correctly and this is a good way to make more art products that doesn't prejudice earth :)
