The level of the US national debt cannot be maintained, the country's authorities must take some action. This was announced on July 2 by the head of the Federal Reserve System (FRS) of the United States Jerome Powell, speaking at a forum at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Sintra.
"The path we are following is unacceptable, there is no doubt about it. This should be the focus of how we get back on a path that we can maintain. In the long run, we need to do something. It is better to do this sooner than later," he said in response to a moderator's question about the level of the US national debt. The broadcast was conducted by CNBC.

Israel didn't go to the "police" after they were attacked.
