The sound alone is worth it, but it doesn’t stop there. High revving, tried and true tremec instead of stinky doodoo mt82, more power, magneride (standard), differential cooler to name a few. If I was in a position where I can afford a 5.0, I’d give up the right kidney & the left testicle to bring my budget up to one of these 350’s.
I've heard a few 350's with headers and I know exactly why you got the 350. Absolutely insane

Im considering between a GT350 or a GT 5.0. The thing about the GT350 is that you cannot get an emissions legal supercharger for it, while the GT you can. A lot of mods for the GT350 that actually add serious horsepower may not be emissions legal. If i decide on keeping my car stock ill get the 350 but if I want to mod it ill get the 5.0 and spend the difference money on a supercharger

Congrats on your GT350! Just picked up a 2016 few weeks ago, was in the same boat as you, going back and forth btw the GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and GT350. So glad I picked the Shelby, it's an unreal experience. The only downside is my next car can't compare. Keep up the great content.

C7Z06 and a Terminator would be an epic garage duo. I don't oppose JDM cars, but they don't excite me the way a domestic V8 does.

The GT350 is a very special car, there’s something to be said for a comfortable but well handling, manual, high-revving V8. Yea you can get a CJ cammed GT for cheaper probably but theres nothing special about it. Ford will probably never anything this cool again.
Do a cj cammed gt350 and it's bye bye gt. The gt350 is significantly cooler and more unique it's not close. There is more to consider than acceleration times.

@@jasonn2284 the R’s are less attainable for most, I’d kill for an R but they’re going up in value quickly especially in the cool colors. Same car tho, so the logic applies.
Gt350 is way cooler than any gt I don't care what their 0-60 time is that doesn't mean much. The 10 speed is as quick on takeoff as gt350 but this is an optimally geared 10 speed auto optimal for drag racing against a manual that isn't geared the greatest for drag racing. Not a fair comparison yet the gt350 runs same 0-60 and similar quarter mile et and mph edge to the gt350. It is way more capable car that is way cooler 😎. There is no way I'd go auto gt over a gt350. Manual ftw.

I had a 10sp 18 PP1.....not even close for me.
Manual all the way. I don’t care how fast the new 10 speeds are, driving them is boring as hell.

GT350 and The Boss are my favorite stangs. You never see them on the road at all. I see about 100 5.0s every day
I live in the greater Seattle area. I’m on the road quite a bit and every once in a while I’ll see a 350. I have a 13’ Boss 302 and I’ve seen 2 on the road in 10 years. The 350 and Boss are special. The others are nearly a dime a dozen.

Only reason I’ll get a 350 is because of the flat plane. They sound so good I just don’t wanna drive stick 😢

I’m right there with you. The GT350 checks all of the boxes. I can easily afford one right now, but what’s kept me from buying one is their reliability. I don’t want to be driving out there with the thought that my engine is going to blow due to various things, but mostly the oil starvation issue. I’m over buying expensive vehicles having those thoughts in the back of my mind.

My only complaint about the gt350 is that for its price point you don’t get the digital infotainment system other than that it’s amazing ride

You can count the V6, if it’s a Cylcone. Mine is boosted on E85 at 480rwhp.

Not really into Mustangs, but I gotta say I genuinely enjoyed driving the GT350. The only Mustang I'd consider besides restomods.

Its so disappointing that Ford still had the audacity to put the phone screen and calculator into this car.....You're paying over 60 grand for this car and it doesn't come stock with premium touchscreen.

How do GT350s handle boost? Do they handle boost as well as Gen 2 and 3 Coyotes?

What would you prefer a Mach 1, GT or Shelby gt350?
An s550 mach 1 then take it to ford and have them install the Ford performance supercharger and maintain my warranty and be reliable. The newer mach 1 shares some components of the gt350 has the rear of the gt500 and exhaust also has latest version of magride. Oh and manual of course. The only gt350 I'd get is a 2019 or above. Big oil consumption and reliability issues in these cars. Def should let this car warm up.
you consider the frs a performance car but not the v6 mustang??? i mean unless you had the 4.0 v6 you cant be serious the 3.7 cyclone is more of a performance car than a frs any day its a 4v v6 has the same whp limit on a sealed block like its same year v8 brother 700whp that frs not doing that
Get a Lund tune and ride out for as long as you’re enjoying the vehicle
Or you could’ve saved a ton and just boosted a GT and had 700-800hp without the oil consumption
