Very well done. I stumbled through these games going off memory of playing the PC98 english patches, and struggling with Google Lens to badly translate anything I didnt understand. I still don't know where Indian Man is in MM1, but Nomi is in a couple secret spots in MM3. When a specific Zoh Daimaoh pulls a lever to open the floor beneath you, the Warp spell lets you pop back up behind him and find some Nomis who drop weird seeds. I forget where the other one is, think on second to last floor.
I actually never ended up planting the weird seeds, so I had no idea Baromett was in MM3. The video taught me something.

That's for the PC98 version of these games.
That's in a version that made this game dark and edgy and gory. The sole Puyo/Madou game that strove to be that and personally speaking needlessly so. That's the PC98 version.
The PC98 version came out one year after this when they redid the original MSX2 version. Which is only the second time out of 3 they have made Madou Monogatari 2. The third time (Game Gear) is closer to this version but more than what you'd expect of Puyo Puyo and Madou.
Puyo Puyo '92 and onwards was more based on this MSX2 version than it was the gory PC98 version.

Only the PC-98 port of Madou Monogatari 2 has the part where Schezo gets beheaded, and then his disembodied head fights back. Luckily, though, the MSX and Game Gear ports have that part omitted.

Mamono was not always the blue feathered demon we all know. In fact,he used to be human. His name was Makoto Kiteku, and he was once a student at the magic kindergarten. This was way before Arle Nadja was even born. Back then,magic wasn't that well studied or suppressed,for this reason, the students at this school weren't that openly introduced to magic. That didn't stop Makoto from learning how to use magic. By earning the trust of his teacher,he was taught all the basic spells to be learned at the time:
Comet, Hailstorm, Hurricane, diacute, Revia, Shadow veil and Ragnarok. Anyways, eventually,the big day came: the graduation ceremony,where students are picked out to scale the illusion beast infested tower of magic,find 3 magic stones,and make it out safely. And this time,it was Makoto's turn. As he climbed the tower,he took down countless illusion beasts, growing stronger as he did. And as he grew stronger,the dark power of the spells he was using,combined with the addictive pride of becoming stronger began to eat away at his conscience. An hour into his climb,he had completed his exam and made it out of the tower. However,as his teacher and fellow students were congratulating him,something snapped within him: he began to mercilessly unleash all his powerful spells without any restraint or regret. And as he attacked,his body slowly transformed into that of a blue bird-like demon. His outburst of bloodlust could not be forgotten,nor could it truly be forgiven. His teacher,along with 2 other great magicians had sealed him in the tower. This was all they could do,for defeating or even killing Makoto at this point would have been impossible. Makoto never came home,and his parents never saw their son again,for that child no longer exists,having been replaced by MAMONO.
