'아이오아이(I.O.I)’는 'Ideal Of Idol'의 약자로 '가장 이상적인 아이돌'이라는 의미를 지니고 있으며, 지금껏 존재하지 않았고 시도되지 않았던 형식으로 탄생한 최초의 걸그룹으로서 가장 이상적이고, 상상할 수 없었던 다양한 모습들을 선보여나갈 계획이다.
1st Mini Album [Chrysalis]
멤버 11명이 함께 고민하고 결정한 음반명 ‘Chrysalis’는 '준비 시간'이라는 의미로, 수 없이 흘린 땀과 노력의 준비 시간을 거쳐 정식 데뷔를 하게 된 소녀들의 꿈과 희망이 담긴 음반이다.
이번 아이오아이의 데뷔앨범 'Chrysalis'는 타이틀곡 'Dream Girls'를 포함해 'I.O.I (Intro)', '똑 똑 똑', 'Doo Wap' 4곡의 신곡과 아이오아이 버전의 'Pick Me', 'Crush', '벚꽃이 지면' 3곡까지 총 7곡으로 구성된 미니앨범이다.
특히 이번 데뷔앨범 ‘Crysalis’는 아이오아이에게 정식 데뷔 앨범 그 이상의 의미를 지닌 앨범으로, 주요 앨범 작업에 아이오아이 멤버들이 직접 참여해 의견을 내고 결정하며 자신들만의 색깔을 담아낸 '진짜' 아이오아이의 앨범이라고 할 수 있다.
아이오아이는 'Chrysalis'라는 음반명부터 타이틀곡과 수록곡 선곡, MV 속 개개인의 캐릭터 선정은 물론 안무구성에도 의견을 내고 참여했으며, 임나영과 최유정의 경우 타이틀곡과 인트로에 직접 작사로 참여하며 수준급의 실력을 선보이는 등, 쉴 틈 없이 바쁜 일정 속에서도 소녀들의 데뷔 앨범을 기다려온 팬들의 기대에 보답하기 위해, 아이오아이만의 매력을 선보이기 위해 노력했다.

Seriously, ioi can be next snsd and even bigger if they are permanent group..what i like about them cause the each member really shined on their way..not just same pretty and cute face ..their visual has give different vibes every member..not just all the member has same vibes...of course they are very talented, from their visual, acting, rapper, dance and personality..it just balance for each other

멤버는 솔직히 아이즈원보다 더 좋은데 프듀초기라서 실험체로 희생 당한 감이 큼. 1년뿐이고 겸업에 씨제이가 직접 챙긴것도 아니고 태진아 소속사에 맡겨 버림. 그나마 마지막에 박진영이 너무너무너무 곡이라도 줘서 다행임.

아이즈원이 아이돌그룹내에서 보통 중심적 인기 담당할만한 멤버로 구성되었다면 아이오아이는 4명 정도 외에는 아이돌그룹 숫자 채우는 멤버급이지. 아.. 그리고 취향 차이도 존재함. 아이즈원은 일본 시장을 겨냥해서 꽤 조정되어있기때문에 구성원 성향자체가 아이오아이와 꽤 틀림. 귀여운 멤버가 중심이니 아마 이쪽 취향이 아닌가봄. 난 프듀101부터가 노관심이더라 나오는애들이 거의다 취향이 아니라서. 그나마 관심가는게 소혜와 유정이 정도?
아이즈원 파생은 뭐 잘될줄아나본데 그쪽도 끝나보면 알거임ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I decided to rewatch the produce series and watch all ioi mvs 🥺 produce101 is basically what got me into k-pop, this is sooo nostalgic

this song is one of kind, IOI also one of kind, the are really IDEAL OF IDOL.
All the wasted talent from disbanding the group and how they didn’t get more opportunities or better marketing. Especially like Sejeong who was #2 but Jellyfish Ent. doesn’t do enough to market gugudan or semina. Luckily Chungha has been doing really well and Somi is gonna get a comeback but a lot of the girls are just getting slept on :(

Don't get your hopes up too high, but in a recent interview Chungha had with Eric Nam, she said that ioi might get back together next year. There is a very small chance this will happen, though. So once again, don't get your hopes up. I miss the girls so much T^T
아...이 곡 나왔을때가 중1때였는데 하...그때 반단체 장기자랑 하는데 강제로 춤 추기 싫은데 여자애들 다 억지로 잡아가지고 연습실 잡고 돈 걷어서 시켰었던...결국 장기자랑 당일 몸치였던 나는 쪽팔렸지만 최대한 열심히 했고 대형도 거의 잘 맞췄음... 이거 진짜 몇주 안남았는데 연습 빡세게 시켜서 너무 힘들었는데 추면서 재밌었음.. 다이어트도 안해서 다리 두꺼워 보일까봐 안할려고 했었는데 그래도 노래가 신나서 짜증은 안 냄.. 애들 진짜 잘 추더라...그때 왜 이곡에 춤춰가지고 내가 왜 지금 돈 들여가면서 하는가 했는데 들을때랑 직접 출때랑 진짜 천차 만별임... ㅋㅋㅋ아 이거 보니까 그때 동작 안 맞고 대형 안 맞아서 계속 애들한테 잔소리 들었는데ㅋㅋㅋ 결국 장기자랑은 쪽팔린거 참으면서 그때 12명이었나 10명이었나 반에서 여자애들끼리 뭉쳐서 추고 남자애들은 다른거 했었는데 ㅋㅋㅋ 아 이거 말고 중2때 담임쌤이 동물 잠옷 입고 나와서 반 여자애들이랑 다른 춤 췄던것도 기억난다..ㅎ
암튼 이 노래에 추억이 있었다는거... 그립네...근데 윗 댓글 보니까 조회수 적은 이유가 영상 올린데서 내려버려서 1억뷰 못 찍었는다는 진짜 너무하네 멤버들이 열심히 찍은건데
