- A small gust of air washes over you with the faint whispers of winter’s chill as fall always brings. Surveying the countryside of Eastern Poland from your dug in fighting position all seems quiet and normal on the brisk September day. Out among the rolling hills a low rumbling begins to intensify from every direction.
Fear begins to grip you.. while you scan the ridge-line across the valley from your unit’s trench line; you see what appears to be dozens of dark gray tanks moving at incredible speed straight towards you. All of which are flying an unmistakable flag- a white circle on a red field with a black geometric design made of right angles- the flag of Nazi Germany. Within minutes the armored hulks have cut swaths through the tall brown Fall grass and are within range of your dugout. Weapons begin firing and to your horror none of the shots seem to find any weakness in the armor to slow the onslaught of the behemoths.
As sure as your fate is sealed so is the nature of warfare from this moment forward. How did this happen? Who was the progenitor of such change in human conflict? Today on Nutty History we intend to find out how the German Blitzkrieg changed the scope of war!

Germans doing Blitzkrieg…
American and NATO allies: Write that down! Write that down!
Lol 😆 so accurate 🤣
Weve already done this; remember Desert Storm?
@@ericanderson3280 remember Fall Rot?
Sure

It's funny how many WW2 terms found their way into Football.
In Football the object is for the quarterback, also known as the field general, to be on target with his aerial assault, riddling the defense by hitting his receivers with deadly accuracy in spite of the blitz, even if he has to use the shotgun. With short bullet passes and long bombs, he marches his troops into enemy territory, balancing this aerial assault with a sustained ground attack that punches holes in the forward wall of the enemy's defensive line.
George Carlin called 🏈 the European sport:"Let's kick their asses & take their fucking land!"
Your content is fantastic! Your presentation is up there with much larger channels. Great work!
Thankyou for the support 🙏🏽
The first Armored divisions in
the blitz were highly mobile
but lacking in heavy firepower.
The Infantry forces protection
and coverage of armor flanks
plus extra fire support helped.
Most early war Panzers sucked.
appearently they were good enough for france with support of britain and poland
Right, the Panzer I was no war winner. I think the Panzer III & IV were the most popular. They complimented the Tiger & Panther well until the war machine of Germany grounded to a halt about the same time manpower lessened & the allies closed in on both sides. I understand what I'm writing, you guy's already know.
Sir Basil Liddel-Hart of the UK did research into this warfare that Guderian studied in the 1920s.
Perhaps Abraham Lincoln's use of the telegraph system during the Civil War would qualify as melding tech to monitor battlefield disposition.
Nice Mustang and Camaro. Anything done to em?
@@chrishernandez2490 No...not really..I sold the Camero about a year ago. The Mustang is the GT with the 5.0 Coyote engine. It does have a cold air induction system. I added red caliber covers and a fax rollback that has an extra brake light to it. It is a 2012 and the only year that has no governor to limit speed so it will do 165 if one is that crazy. Z rated Perelli tires.
@@bamther5718 nice, you can't go wrong with the Coyote engine 👍
@@chrishernandez2490 charger ? Or challenger
France did not have the will or power to stop the germans from re arming.
Your content reminds me a lot of a channel called Weird History
It was really WW1 Australian General John Monash who helped out to start with, search up the Battle of Le Hamel
Cavalry - Horse soldiers.
Calvary - A hill outside Jerusalem.
This guy mispronounces at least one commonplace word in nearly every video I’ve watched. Now cavalry may not be commonplace but for a narrator of historical events one should know this one.
This man who was the Grand father Of tank warfare. Have to admire the work of this man who was able to see the future of tanks for a quick victory
The American civil war had the machine gun , that is the Gatling gun , telegraphic communication , a primitive submarine , armoured warships ,and even aeronautics in the form of hot air balloons fot observation purposes .
And the first subs
I AGREE 101% 👍👍👌👌😊😊
Well that was definitely nuts
He never "kissed Hitler's ass", hence was forced into retirement even after success. He never became a Field Marshal because of this. One more promotion & he would've. Those who knew him said he was just happy to be a Tank/Panzer commander.
Clickbait title. Militaries read about past wars all the time.
This channel puts "the History Channel" to shame!
The first time a blitzkrieg was used was in WWI Sir John Monash U&sed Artilary, Planes, and Tanks to overcome dug-in troops at Hamel. He kept the barrage going up until the infantry were up to the enemy trenches. Then lifted it to start oh the support trenches. He gave 90mins. as time the battle would take to succeed, it took 94minutes. History ignores him and the British claim they did it all.
Ya but it took Taliban less than one week to take over the whole country of Afghanistan.
How taliban says good bye plane on plane on planes on planes
Schleeeefman! Have you never taken German?
No one talks about Finnish Winter War and Spanish Civil War involving Soviet Union that made Nazi Germany pressured and threatened to move in Poland like it was not connected at all
👏👏👏👏👏
Alan Turing
napoleon did too
Eva tac is a glorified shit coated 25 cent display knife its only folded like 5 to 10 times when forged
Elion musk tesla 😎👌
odo nobonaga... the Mongols
* laughs in Taliban *
I wish Germany got East Prussia back, but at this point it’s too late. It’s been generations since it was Prussia so everyone there considers themselves as either Russian or Polish.
Eastern Poland? With Americans?
East Poland
🚀 & Nasa. We took their technology.
Disappointed
The intro has a polish soldier in his dugout in EASTERN poland seeing nazis. But if he was in east Poland he would have seen Soviet tanks. They invaded 2 weeks apart and met in the middle. If he's in a defensive position in eastern poland, this hypothetical polish soldier would have never seen an attacking german panzer.
I think he needs his eyes checked 😐🤨 No wonder poland lost lol their soldiers mistook a hammer and sickle for a swastika 😂
The thumbnail is Kinda funny take a soviet soldier and slap an American flag on his chest
Japanese imperialism continues to colonize the Ryukyu Republic in 1972 is equivalent to returning East Prussia to Germany
No it’s now east Poland
Rather than calling them Germabs you call them Nazis, Call Americans Impearilists and Soviets Communists
Americans would be democrats/republicans/capitalists
