I’m with you on that nightclub picks. One time my friend came over and said I heard you like Calvin Harris? I said yes! He said he is playing at Hakkasan (this was in Vegas) I was like oh cool. He made a phone call and then said let’s go. We got up and left I was wearing v neck sweater and cargo shorts 😆 When we got to bouncers my friend gave our names so we were in the expidted VIP invitation list which I had no clue. I looked at one line which was on stand still under VIP and the other line which was crowded and those were for regular entry. The moment security walked us in and I looked back at the faces of the girls that were in VIP line 😯 they were confused and annoyed at the same time. All hot chicks 😂

Straight up I’m a native too, and I like to watch these videos to see what other people think of miami, and these are solid tips. Natives we know these things , but man I’ve traveled other places and found shit out the hard way or had friends to show me around so I didn’t slip . And for the out of towners there are other places to have fun beside bottle service at Liv , we have a scene for everyone down here, you can find anything down here except snow skiing

Lol, I wouldn't abandon any of my friends to get into a club. That's shallow. I wouldn't spend any of my money at an establishment that treats people unkindly based off of how they look either. The same people doing this are the same people who can't tell a Steve Madden sandal from a Hermes sandal. You can't possibly accurately guess how much people would spend based on their body, face and outfit. Sad.

If you succumb to the ridiculous requirements of acceptance into one of these nightclubs, you deserve to be there and get exploited. Smart men and women should know that there are a lot of alternative venues to visit in South Florida. I believe that rejecting customers based on their looks is, at the very least discriminatory and should be punishable. With experience, you learn ways to socialize without sacrificing your financial future. I have partied with awesome people at trendy locations in South Florida for $200-500/night, including food and drinks.
Sure, if you are still looking for the value of spending lots of money on a night out, you may instead visit one of the many Bars in the area of Las Olas Boulevard and Fort Lauderdale Beach. You do not need to dress up unless you want to. You won't spend your organs away. You can meet locals and visitors at these establishments, and even foreigners. Parking is cheaper and not a pain, especially if you arrive early. And most importantly, no one will be picking anyone at the door. My favorites are 'Rooftop' and 'Yolo', both in the Las Olas area. The great thing about these options is that you have many people to entertain your eyes. In both these places, you will find a 24-34 crowd and a 34-54 crowd. I have seen some of the most beautiful older women at these locations. You will find people arriving in Toyotas and others in Ferraris. There are some cool options in the Miami area as well, but prices tend to go up the further south you go.
This is 100% why I don't go to nightclubs. I can have good enough fun in Brickell or Wynwood, North Miami or Fort Lauderdale. There's no need to subject yourself to this. Miami has a lot to offer and it's clubs are corny at best just like Vegas.
I been to Miami 4 times in the last 3 years and I'm on my way back in October for Carnival. This video is 1000% Facts! Club LIV and Story is a no go if you don't have bottle and table service. 90% of the restaurants on Ocean Drive are trash. The service and the food is terrible and the drinks are way overpriced. Wynwood & Brickell is where its at! ✔💯

@@sprdck8 I only recommend staying on South Beach if its your first time going to Miami, For Spring Break or Memorial Day Weekend. I'm 35, You'll most likely enjoy it more than I will because your younger. When booking a hotel try to stay on Washington, Collins or Ocean. In between the 500 to 1600 blocks that way everything is accessible by foot. But definitely check out Wynwood its only a 10 to15 minute Lyft/Uber ride over the bridge.

That's where we were looking to stay (airbnb as opposed to hotel), but then I read a lot of things about downtown possibly being better now, and that clubs in sobe might suck for us to try and get into. It's been a deep ass rabbit hole, so I appreciate you giving me the insight to help us make a choice. We'll have a rental car, so we can drive and make day trips to different areas, but at night once we get partying we would be walking or riding bikes.

IF, traveling alone, then an indirect flight likely won't save you money. However, if you're splitting the cost of transportation into Miami with friends then definitely save your coins and fly Ft. L. (Depending on your itinerary and budget renting, a vehicle is an option) Night club culture in Miami is disgusting if it's as you say. 0 out of 10. Miami is disgusting with how they let people into clubs...I've been to both Miami and Las Vegas and been in clubs at both places and YES what he is saying is true..the club scene is first young adults when you get older its no longer necessity...no wonder why this younger generation has liw self esteem.. Thats not the case at all, Clubs need the older people in order to not close their doors and stay open for business. The industry is harsh but once you understand why they have to do the things i talk about in this video you will understand that everyday clubs have to fight for their survival

Hey brother good videos. Just wanted to mention that I saved about 150 dollars per ticket flying into Ft Lauderdale instead of miami. We are also renting a car though so it did save us a good amount.

Greetings from Sweden! For every minute you explain, the more scary Miami seems, not sure if im gonna visit there on my US trip next year, maybe i have to learn all those tactics first so i do not get scamed *XD*
One word: preparty! Stock your room up with liquor and beer or whatever you like, tie one on, then go out and have a drink or two. 8 bucks for a can of beer there at the bars. I spent $35 for one (huge) drink there once. But theyres liquor stores on every block, and cvs’s and stores for the beer and the prices there are “normal”. You can pick and choose when it comes to food. If its on ocean drive, its overpriced. Head over to washington ave. Lots of great places to eat. 11st diner, saffron grill, la parilla liberty are a few of my favorites. A short walk from ocean drive, like a 4 minute walk. Ive been there 4 times so far for a week each time (soon to be 5) and the most i ever spent on food was 30 at saffron grill but it took me two days to eat everything. Also, the public busses arent that bad imo! The 150 is great for getting to and from MIA to south beach, and the 120 is good if you want to check out downtown. Its always a fun adventure there and i cant wait to check out little havana. (120 to 207 bus to get there). My favorite bars there are mangos and the outdoor dance floor at the clevelander. Free to get into both places.

I said to the driver , why did you charge too much money? Before I took the yellow cap, I checked the Left car service is $27 only. I don't like it I said. But anyway I have to pay. 1. fort lauderdale: bingo, yes, do not go there, fly straight to miami 2. little havana, has awesome cuban food 3. miami is more than south beach. 4. miami is costly but drinks are not that costly man. you can get full drunk for $ 200 in a night club. 5. yup, but getting into a night club is not difficult, just buy tickets online. if you can get into space, you have seen miami. do not worry. DO NOT buy bottle service, it is not required to get into a club 6. yup, be very careful of girls who are overtly friendly. But a lot of people are chill man, they are there to enjoy, just ensure do not piss people off. 7. man do not be mean, just add $10 on top of the bill. its always appreciated. 8. some of the restaurants on ocean drive are good. but yes most of them are trash, just go 1-2 roads behind the ocean drive, you get better and cheaper food. 9. he is wrong about public transportation. Metro is good and Buses are good. metro mover is good. he is wrong. I have used public transport for 4.5 years in Miami. They are safe. 10. stay away from promoters. they are not interested in you. 11. Do not keep tab open unless you know the bartender. most places, just opt for closing the tab then and there. or just keep cash.
Spoken like a true MIami local 🙏, The public transportation has definitely improved since i originally reordered this years ago, the transport is good in Downtown but i still think that Miami Beach has horrible public transportation but than again i haven’t used it since 2017. You also need to remember that $200 is the cost of most peoples car payment and is considered expensive for most people in America who are used to paying $4 for a Manhattan at their local club.
This is great solid information I've only been to Miami 3 times and my last time was 2011 for Memorial day weekend & I had more fun hanging out in downtown Miami than South Beach and also definitely plan to check out other areas next time especially the Cuban restaurants you named

My clubs in Miami are like $50 or more. If you’re a group of girls and one of them or not it’s not so attractive it will still get in.You probably just won’t make it to VIP. 70 or $80 to eat. Where are you eating? I’ll see you can get breakfast for like $20, lunch for like 35And dinner for around 50 $60, you might want to save a couple hundred dollars to go on one night to a special restaurant on your trip. Miami as well as Las. Vegas has something for everyone. So what exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to go sit with dDiddy And party with him. No you’re not gonna be able to do that. You’re tons of yacht parties and things that are all in budget and you’ll definitely be able to do.

Discrimination based on looks is not different than any other kind. I'm pretty sure with sufficient documented proof of this practice these establishments could be sued for quite some cash.
Trust me they can absolutely get away with it, you gotta read the fine print on those tickets and terms of service. Nightclubs can get away with this easily but I wouldn’t worry too much, clubs put profit margins over everything so they definitely will let you in 98% of the time if you meet the basic requirements.
Twin Cities here! Minneapolis and St. Paul are right next to each other separated by a skinny river. Any times I go to a place like Miami I assume Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/West Pal Beach are like 5 minutes apart.

I'm a semi-local in Miami Beach (I have a condo near the Fontainebleau) and u gave some great advice! The only thing that I'm surprised and unsure why it is not mentioned more often from Miami advisors is the option of renting of a car instead of Uber/Lyft! (u did mention Turo though..cool!) For some reason, advisors mention about uber/lyft instead of renting a car almost always. Personally I always rent a car in Miami/MB because going from MB to the mainland and any notable points of interest are just spread so far apart, it makes more sense to rent a car imo than uber/lift in the long run. Plus if u park in the right garages its only a couple of bucks an hour. Great, bang-on advice about the clubs!

Facts tho? Me an my gf are lookin to go in April and can't decide between Brickell or sobe. Sounds like clubs dont let couples in the door in sobe? We've never been to Miami, or Florida at all. We're 26. Sobe looks like the spot. But I keep hearing good things about Brickell/downtown and I'm not tryna be rejected at clubs, stg I'll bounce the mf bouncers. Lol
@@sprdck8 I only recommend staying on South Beach if its your first time going to Miami, For Spring Break or Memorial Day Weekend. I'm 35, You'll most likely enjoy it more than I will because your younger. When booking a hotel try to stay on Washington, Collins or Ocean. In between the 500 to 1600 blocks that way everything is accessible by foot. But definitely check out Wynwood its only a 10 to15 minute Lyft/Uber ride over the bridge.

That's where we were looking to stay (airbnb as opposed to hotel), but then I read a lot of things about downtown possibly being better now, and that clubs in sobe might suck for us to try and get into. It's been a deep ass rabbit hole, so I appreciate you giving me the insight to help us make a choice. We'll have a rental car, so we can drive and make day trips to different areas, but at night once we get partying we would be walking or riding bikes.

I've been trying to get in LIV for 5 years straight via general admission and waiting in the line and I failed miserably every time, And I hate the fact that they treat the tourist better than the locals. I had no issues with clubs in Vegas or Houston....I've outgrown the club scene now Thank God so Miami doesn't have to worry about me lol....and your soooooo right about having at least 400$ a day for spending !
I realized overtime that with a $400 per day budget you will have an more enjoyable experience and not worry about how much things cost.

IF, traveling alone, then an indirect flight likely won't save you money. However, if you're splitting the cost of transportation into Miami with friends then definitely save your coins and fly Ft. L. (Depending on your itinerary and budget renting, a vehicle is an option)

2:22 Even Midtown, Wynwood, Brickell, Coconut Grove, South Miami, Coral Gables, Pinecrest, North Miami Beach, Doral, Aventura, Gulfstream all have chill areas for tourists to hang out safely. There’s so many areas in Miami that tourists never explore!

Thats not the case at all, Clubs need the older people in order to not close their doors and stay open for business. The industry is harsh but once you understand why they have to do the things i talk about in this video you will understand that everyday clubs have to fight for their survival

One word: preparty! Stock your room up with liquor and beer or whatever you like, tie one on, then go out and have a drink or two. 8 bucks for a can of beer there at the bars. I spent $35 for one (huge) drink there once. But theyres liquor stores on every block, and cvs’s and stores for the beer and the prices there are “normal”. You can pick and choose when it comes to food. If its on ocean drive, its overpriced. Head over to washington ave. Lots of great places to eat. 11st diner, saffron grill, la parilla liberty are a few of my favorites. A short walk from ocean drive, like a 4 minute walk. Ive been there 4 times so far for a week each time (soon to be 5) and the most i ever spent on food was 30 at saffron grill but it took me two days to eat everything. Also, the public busses arent that bad imo! The 150 is great for getting to and from MIA to south beach, and the 120 is good if you want to check out downtown. Its always a fun adventure there and i cant wait to check out little havana. (120 to 207 bus to get there). My favorite bars there are mangos and the outdoor dance floor at the clevelander. Free to get into both places.

You said right that when I arrived at Miami international airport, I don't want to wait Left car service. That is why I took yellow cap taxi to the Red South Beach hotel . They changed me $47. I said to the driver , why did you charge too much money? Before I took the yellow cap, I checked the Left car service is $27 only. I don't like it I said. But anyway I have to pay.
Since then I always call Left car service only.
Anyway I am fall in 😘 Miami. I will go again at this summer.

No idea how people still have fun in the clubs. Miami have great restaurants with DJs and dancing and very upscale.
The clubs are really enjoyable for a select few, Those restaurants are amazing as well that was going to be my next video.
1. fort lauderdale: bingo, yes, do not go there, fly straight to miami
2. little havana, has awesome cuban food
3. miami is more than south beach.
4. miami is costly but drinks are not that costly man. you can get full drunk for $ 200 in a night club.
5. yup, but getting into a night club is not difficult, just buy tickets online. if you can get into space, you have seen miami. do not worry. DO NOT buy bottle service, it is not required to get into a club
6. yup, be very careful of girls who are overtly friendly. But a lot of people are chill man, they are there to enjoy, just ensure do not piss people off.
7. man do not be mean, just add $10 on top of the bill. its always appreciated.
8. some of the restaurants on ocean drive are good. but yes most of them are trash, just go 1-2 roads behind the ocean drive, you get better and cheaper food.
9. he is wrong about public transportation. Metro is good and Buses are good. metro mover is good. he is wrong. I have used public transport for 4.5 years in Miami. They are safe.
10. stay away from promoters. they are not interested in you.
11. Do not keep tab open unless you know the bartender. most places, just opt for closing the tab then and there. or just keep cash.
Spoken like a true MIami local 🙏, The public transportation has definitely improved since i originally reordered this years ago, the transport is good in Downtown but i still think that Miami Beach has horrible public transportation but than again i haven’t used it since 2017. You also need to remember that $200 is the cost of most peoples car payment and is considered expensive for most people in America who are used to paying $4 for a Manhattan at their local club.

This is great solid information I've only been to Miami 3 times and my last time was 2011 for Memorial day weekend & I had more fun hanging out in downtown Miami than South Beach and also definitely plan to check out other areas next time especially the Cuban restaurants you named

I don’t know, I live in Las Vegas currently and I have lived in Miami. Some of the things you’re saying are true however, it depends on what night club you’re trying to get into. My clubs in Miami are like $50 or more. If you’re a group of girls and one of them or not it’s not so attractive it will still get in.You probably just won’t make it to VIP. 70 or $80 to eat. Where are you eating? I’ll see you can get breakfast for like $20, lunch for like 35And dinner for around 50 $60, you might want to save a couple hundred dollars to go on one night to a special restaurant on your trip. Miami as well as Las. Vegas has something for everyone. So what exactly are you trying to do? Are you trying to go sit with dDiddy And party with him. No you’re not gonna be able to do that. You’re tons of yacht parties and things that are all in budget and you’ll definitely be able to do.
This is 100% true but most tourists only care for the really big name places and the best of the best. i had to let them know there’s a price to pay when you want the best of the best. I'm planning on making a follow up video to inform people of all the spots locals go to and how to avoid the over priced tourist traps i talked about in this video

Florida man here. I'm a dude with a good chunk of change, can afford Bottled service/VIP in Miami and looking forward to coming to party at the big Nightclubs. But when I heard that bit about letting a group of girls in but telling their one friend that she cannot come in because she isn't attractive enough, fuck that! Fuck the clubs. I'll go have fun elsewhere.
Wow, as an older midwestern (conservative) guy - this really does not look like the place for me. Enjoy the scenery, beach, sun, but not a nightlife wildman. Surprising sounds very shallow.

Discrimination based on looks is not different than any other kind. I'm pretty sure with sufficient documented proof of this practice these establishments could be sued for quite some cash.
Trust me they can absolutely get away with it, you gotta read the fine print on those tickets and terms of service. Nightclubs can get away with this easily but I wouldn’t worry too much, clubs put profit margins over everything so they definitely will let you in 98% of the time if you meet the basic requirements.

Twin Cities here! Minneapolis and St. Paul are right next to each other separated by a skinny river. Any times I go to a place like Miami I assume Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/West Pal Beach are like 5 minutes apart.

Sure that’s pretty much every club at the moment because of Covid all clubs are heavy discounted at the moment to be competitive.

I'm a semi-local in Miami Beach (I have a condo near the Fontainebleau) and u gave some great advice! The only thing that I'm surprised and unsure why it is not mentioned more often from Miami advisors is the option of renting of a car instead of Uber/Lyft! (u did mention Turo though..cool!) For some reason, advisors mention about uber/lyft instead of renting a car almost always. Personally I always rent a car in Miami/MB because going from MB to the mainland and any notable points of interest are just spread so far apart, it makes more sense to rent a car imo than uber/lift in the long run. Plus if u park in the right garages its only a couple of bucks an hour. Great, bang-on advice about the clubs!
Thanks, I agree, if people rent a cheap car especially on Turo we’re it’s a person to person rental it can be an cheaper alternative. It’s also good that Uber is now allowing people to rent cars as well.
