- Sorry all the waiting but its been a lot of work getting the boat ready for new solo sailing endavours!

Our boat has a slightly larger axiom screen, multiple multiview screens, a quantum doppler radar, AIS splitter, VHF, and their autopilot unit.
Best investment of my life. The seatalk system is incredibly simple, the navigational systems are very adaptable and modifiable. Everything just works like a charm.

So, I happened on and have been watching the videos for the last week now. As I watched the first one I thought ( this guy is insane). But the more vids you watch and you see where he lives you begin to understand his experience and knowledge of these incredibly rough seas that are in his own backyard. The day sailors in my erea would be ready to launch the lifeboats in those conditions. To see Eric brave those vast oveans and bodies of water are truly amazing. And what beautiful footage. His channel is considerably different than other sailing channels that are being supported by the viewers. (As a portion of). No one needs me to explain these differences. Stay safe sailor, and please keep them coming....⛵

Anything that adds to your safety, and makes the boat easier to work on your epic solo voyages is to be applauded, and you've certainly earned the interest of these manufacturers in your adventures.
Its amazing the maritime technology that's available now - I remember visiting HMS "Victory" in Portsmouth dockyard as a boy and being shown Horatio Nelson's book of midshipman''s navigational exercises, all drawn out with neat copperplate handwriting, (which was contrasted with my own blotted and untidy schoolbooks!) - how things have moved on!
All the best with your preparations for Greenland in October - you seem to have made a good start. What with Covid and climate, you didn't have the best of it last year, but the videos are fascinating to watch all the same. Keep safe!
