After Black Ops 4, Modern Warfare 2019 changed Call of Duty forever. It was the first modern, boots on the ground Call of Duty installment in years after having futuristic exo suit COD for many years back to back. Not only was it something fresh, it's movement, gunplay, gunsmith, and multiplayer experience was controversially one of the best in the series. And if that wasn't enough, MW2019 introduced WARZONE on Verdansk in the peak of lockdown. MW set the foundation for Vanguard, MW2 and MW3. Without this game, many FPS video games wouldn't be here, or look how they do. Maybe I'll post more old COD videos like this with Black Ops 6 coming out soon.

Allow me to join you. I've been a die hard fan of this game for the last 6 years. Though the game had its imperfections like maps and the pathetic SBMM, this was one of the best cod titles made by Activision till date and even far far far better than whatever came after.
if someone told me this gameplay was from the most recent COD I'd believe them

It basically is, all that's been added is a few bells and whistles and mediocre campaigns, and they've removed a lot of what made 2019 so great.

Looking back at MW2019 puts into perspective how washed out MWIII can be. Yes, having the really dark/bright scenes can impact visibility, so there's no single perfect choice... But I'll gladly look at MW19 as an observer any day over MWIII.
Another thing to consider is that they forced antialiasing to be on in MWIII and it makes the game blurry as hell. MW19 continues to be the best looking game since its release.
@@P0W3RH0U53 You're absolutely right. I've hated the forced AA ever since it started since I vastly prefer crisp and slightly aliased visuals over blurry anti-aliased content.
iirc BF4 and BFV had character rim lighting where it looked like the character models had a light shining on them from above and behind, so they were well-illuminated even in the darkest of corners. Obviously not realistic but it did wonders for playability, and allowed all other aspects of the lighting to look good, it'd be nice if CoD would just copy that one thing
Mw19 looks so much better. Mw2 had better animations but overall the look was so much better/crisper. Mw3 graphics look like they regressed from mw19
the visibility will be bad no matter what because when someone is in a dark corner chances are their character is also dark so theres no contrast lol i want the old graphics back

The Animation the lighting the Gunplay it's so smooth and beautiful it remains my favorite cod since bo3 so many great memories with friends especially in warzone
Mw2019 is not a perfect game by no means, but compared to the actual call of duty titles is actually brilliant, and the evolution that the franchise really needed. (Except for the SBMM, the maps and probably the cheaters)
The graphics and gun fight of mw2019 feels like a title that came out in 2025, meanwhile Mw3 is like a 2017 game.
It's hard to believe this is a last gen title, too.
Respawn in this game was dogshit, and they only used this game to make warzone.

Feels like it came out yesterday, IMO this was the best Cod ever so far. I loved the campaign more than any other, the new engine was beautiful and felt crisp, and truly had the original MW feel
And some people say Cold War is better, it was as overrated as the word.

@@threnody1744 im a treyarch fanboy, and I was so devastated when CW released. The hype around the Warzone event was soooo good and the marketing was also really good. Then the game came out and disappointment followed 😔
I've always said MW2019 was one of the best. As a CoD veteran from CoD4, I really really enjoyed the game during it's time. CW was not it. I didn't enjoy it at all. The movement felt so janky compared to the smoooooooooth mechanics of MW2019. Id consider it top 5 CoD multiplayers

Honestly to see you put out some gameplay again reminds me of how I foubd your channel and why I got so invested with MP. I originally started on Warzone and didnt plan on keeping up with it, for favoring of OG CODs but starting the camo grind (and the cosmetics were awesome)👌🏽

The graphics and details on that game were in another level, you could notice the little things while playing and the camos looked amazing including Damascus which was hell to grind.

Man ever since this game came out I’ve held all the other cods to this standard and they don’t even come close. Yes the maps weren’t amazing but I loved Ground War and S&D. I still play it every once in a while.

Something about the beautiful simplicity in MW2019, even the hit marker sounds were solid and satisfying but melded well with everything else. I really don't know how they strayed so far from the original vision.

Because tons of players complained about the crackhead movement that sweats were doing so they destroyed movement in MW2 and only kept the bad stuff of 2019 like no map voting, disbanding lobbies, SBMM, they added charging perks 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️, trash third game mode, and they completely redid warzone all to sell some of the same skins that people owned in 2019

this game just feel different... they made this one with love, thats why we like mw 2019.
MW19 was absolute peak , frankly .It needed only a Ruger Vaquero so I could complete my Cowboy Loadout and it would have been freaking perfect .Too bad it never got that final touch .
Also , the UI and the sound effects were so sexy and make me so nostalgic .
The funny thing to me is I was watching this in x0.25 speed to check if Nemsk is kinda hacker or not, and then 2:36 this guy gave me what i was looking for lmao

This game was actually nasty. If not for the sbmm, it’s top 3 lowkey. Gameplay, graphics and animations were smooth as butter. Even with the lackluster maps, the game was super addictive. OG Warzone was fun as hell and the campaign was good too. Spec ops was clearly filler tho haha
