I don't even think it's that cold... Players get coaches fired all the time... Nash hasn't shown much as a coach that makes him worth fighting kd over. Marks is a good gm but even if he wasn't I would say no to firing him just cause you have given kd so much you got to draw the line somewhere

If you're not bending to Durant's demands, then you have to move him. You don't want your basketball superstar to be disgruntled and unmotivated. Durant has to go.
No. Durant has to stay. Understand that no team in the NBA has an equal trade for Brooklyn. It would be incredibly foolish business-wise to trade Durant for nothing. Also, it makes the Brooklyn organization look incredibly weak to just give in to Durant's demands. If I'm Joe Tsai, I'm telling Durant that he will be on the team until Brooklyn can find a suitable trade partner. Really wanna hear skip and Shanoon thoughts on this.. Kd and Kyrie wanted Steve Nash from the jump then they said they didnt need a coach ...
Skip and Shannon are gonna somehow make this about Lebron James, like they always do.
@@tinobrown1780 Skip makes things about Lebron like he always does... Shanoon on the otherhand wilk defend Lebron when Skip bring him up
Easy fix.. Make the contract state that if they want out then they only keep pay n bonuses for time rendered and return the rest of the money to the team.. Then the player forcing a trade can only qualify for the minimum contract until 1 calendar year after he was originally supposed to be a free agent... Regardless if waived or traded again.
KD has proven he is a quitter, he quit in each of his previous teams (OKC and GSW) and is quitting for the 3rd time. He has great players: Seth, Simmons, Kyrie, O'Neale, Mills, Claxton. Why can't he lead this team to be a contender? That's why no one wants to trade for him. They know after the first struggle he is gonna quit for the "next best thing".
He didnât quit in OKC. He was there for most of his career. They were nobodies and he took them to the Finals at a young age. He also was a free agent when he left. He finished his contract everywhere he went except for Brooklyn. Yâall MFs get on here and lie so easily, like we ainât got the facts.
@RFM Recordings bro just delete your CZcams account! I wish I wouldâve heard this about king James who brings the team a championship and finishes out his contracts
@RFM Recordings I think everyone wants players who honor their contracts and act like adults. This isn't opera.
He never quit though. I mean he did tear his Achilles trying to help GSW win a ring. I mean yâall really be forgetting. He did play every minute Nash told him to play. He was a free agent in OKC & GSW (which yâall criticized).
@@devontacosby8593 donât forget miss the playoffs, gets coaches fired, humiliates his coaches, and trade his teammates. Guess what? Even he was free to leave. Like LBJ literally gets love. Sure some critics but he gets mostly love.
So. The teams can do whatever they want when moving players without them knowingâŠ..but a player canât be in power about his situationđđ
He just signed an extension with these 2 there stfu
ofc. they get paid. the nets gave him everything when he joined the team. its not like the team owe him anything as they have not won shiii yet.
Well there's contracts that are signed so that's not exactly how it works. NBA players have more say then any other sport. Seems to me players have plenty of control and they don't want to play.
You seem to think this is an employer vs. employer situation. It is not.
Correct.
"The BEST player in the league" and "The BEST handle in NBA HISTORY" got SWEPT in the first round TOGETHERđ€
How someone on a 4 year deal making demands is beyond me
The NBA players now are spoiled brats. No more playing for the team that drafted you. No appreciation for how blessed they are for to play and get the money they are getting. They want to run and play for the team like they are the GM. Durant., Harden, Kyrie and others will never win another championship. Can't stay healthy for a full season. Selfishness at its best.
Imagine if the bulls fired Krause because of him not being liked..
Any team considering trading for Durant should observe how toxic this situation has become because of him.
LOL ey Key you right!!
So glad the GSW don't have to deal with this.
He got You J give it up.
Good follow up by Keyshawn on why would Adam Silver get involved?
They way he's going about it is tough but he's not wrong and the owner knows it but the nets really about to go through another rebuild after literally trading away like 5 all stars in the last 4 years. Got rid of Dlo Dinwiddie Jarrett Allen, Levert, Harden and now Kd and possibly kyrie? Something's off
Yeah, the league is worried about players taking big contracts and requesting a trade but will punish those that stick around with the luxury tax and when an owner speaks a little about it he gets fined. We all don't like what is happening at the Nets but at some point, the league has to take some of the blame.
This is so smart
Honestly you co sign Nash and I never thought he should get the job.
If I'm the owner I fire Nash but with the mindset of are we trading kyrie and if we are not is kyrie going to do what the next coach Invisions.
Personally I'd trade Durant but I'd try to sign kyrie to make him more valuable contract wise
None of us have that power of another.
This next CBA will be brutal!
Why does Key pretend he doesnât understand the concept of compromise? You asked for two thing but you only get one.
Its called being under contract and being a man of your word
If keshawyn listen ⊠jay is speaking facts
Dame, Steph, jimmy, dirk, Tim, beal. These are some of the great players of the modern era that are/were loyal to their team. I have a feeling if KD would have just stayed with okc people would put him on their top 10
The cba should enforce the law on players and teams as well. If a team signs a player they should honour the length of the contract. Just as if a player should honor the contract also. It should be fair the players too because teams has ruined players by trading them.
Why is Key struggling to understand?
Bro, Silver needs to set the tone. For every game players choose to sit, ban them for an additional game. Eg. sit 30 games miss 60 without pay.
Carries over to a new team even if they get traded, which will diminish other teamsâ interest to the point they wonât get moved.
Right now, the punishment doesnât fit the crime.
After meeting your demands for the last couple of years and getting absolutely nothing from what was supposed to be a dynamic dual then give you the contract you want. NAW!!!! Thatâs enough! If Iâm the owner stuff stops Now! Getting rid of Nash đđŸ but it all ends either your playing your contract or waste your years getting fined and chilling and waiting. Figure it out KD stop shenanigans.
If only we had precedent where the best player in the league didnât want the GM and there was a 10 part documentary called The Last Dance that dove into it.
Tyler Seguin, an incredibly talented NHL player was signed by the Bruins and let go for his lack of professionalism on and off the ice and sent to Dallas. Certain leagues hold players accountable but the NBA culture time and again let players get away with this nonsense. Masai Ujiri and Nick Nurse have done a great job shutting this rhetoric down but the Nets need to get it together, get rid of Durrant, get some young blood in there and players who want to earn their respect.
Was in Okc wasnt happy, won back to back in Golden State and still wasnt happy, wanted to be the man so he went to the nets to team up with kyrie and now wanna bail and still not happy, idk how this man does it but this will only continue where team he gets traded.
@RFM Recordings bro just delete your CZcams account! That means kd is just miserable! Why not be happy if you have a great support system, make millions, has won championships! Like why be dad! Your comments speaks a lot about you and kd!! But I get it people just have to be MISERABLE đđđ
HEY ESPN! We need more coverage on the Nets drama! If KD was on the Knicks and this happened , you guys will be covering this all day everyday, even on my birthday. - Sincerely, Knicks fans.
