  • Colorado is a beautiful and breathtaking place to visit. It’s a big state with so many places to visit and see. But, with so many options, it can be hard t know where to start! We have put an itinerary together based on the week we spent there, with specific places to check out! It was one of our favorite trips and we hope you will find this video helpful!
    In the video, I mention a few places I recommend. Here are the links!

    As you mentioned, you travelled from Texas. You stopped any where in middle or one stretch you travelled to Avon from Texas? Please guide us. I'm travelling from Dallas City. Other than The Westin hotel, you stayed some where else in Colorado Springs? If possible please share your schedule and visits by each day. Thank you.

      Hi Jenny, we drove from TX to CO and love road trips. We ended up driving up hwy 24 which was stunning but could be scary if you have a fear of high roads! It was very smooth and had safety rails, but definitely windy and high. If you are coming in from Denver or elsewhere, stick to the Interstate and it’s not scary at all. Avon is right on I-70 and the lanes are wide and many all the way from Denver. There’s a tunnel on the route so you avoid steep narrow passes. You cross Vail Pass on I-70, but it’s a great easy drive. Hope you enjoy!

    Natural hot springs. That ain't because it's been heated inside.
    Natural hot springs would be heated by vulcanism. And most vulcanism has Sulphur. You didn't know that?

    Hi, I loved your Videos. Could you please advise , if there any free paring spot or area that I can leave my car before I get to the shuttle to Marroon bells. or any advise to save the whole day parking cost? looking forward to your suggestions about Maroon bells parking.. thanks. Khan.

    • @FarmtoTravel
      @FarmtoTravel  Před 3 lety

      Thanks! The Maroon Bells bus departs from the Aspen Highlands Visitor Center which is where we parked. The money to park there is worth it! A free bus also runs from the city of Aspen to Aspen Highlands, labeled the Castle/Maroon bus. It leaves every 20 minutes on the hour. You could find free parking somewhere in the city at a shop or restaurant and walk to that city bus route. However, I would highly recommend paying the fee to park at Aspen Highlands for an easier stress free experience.
