I don't know if your were trying to get this tone of red but a little hint would be to prime the cowling with a white base primer . If you want your colours to be brighter always base coat your colour white before you paint on the final colour . You will be amazed how much brighter your final colour will be . Great video, I would love to see a followup video from you guys. What does the motor look like after 4 years and 400 hours on it kind of thing.... Worried the paint will flake off the lower unit over time.

the pine straw and chicken farmer, it adds a good 10-20 hp because red is the colour of sports cars and they go fast so red paint makes it faster... obviously

why in the hell would someone paint the motor red? white, black or back to grey. don't understand. so pick of the decals that yall put back on. bet they don't match

You can actually paint vinyl decals whatever color you want with our spray can. They decal place will cut them but not "weed them", then paint them, "weed" them and good to go.

Hahaha! I tried to convince the owner (my dad) to go white with ice blue accents to match the T-top, but he insisted on red! I was in a time crunch for the article to be published in boating magazine so not a lot of time to argue. He loves it so I guess that's all that matters.
