I remember reading a book called The Porn Guru by Harper Daniels. It had good tips for stopping and a meditation program at the end.

@flannel_punk their fortify platform, this brilliant, interactive gameified platform that helps users quit porn, had the most helpful library of gradually more complex videos and they deleted them all for this weird new daily checkin thing... like why not have both, made totally no sense

I support you guys but we also need to fight porn in a more aggresive, direct and explicit way acting against the ones who make it as treating with criminals because that is what they are.

I am from the UK. I don’t know anyone who has had any kind of therapy; it is not really such a common thing here in the way it seems common in the USA. I wouldn't know where to look or what method of therapy to try. (I don’t have loads of money either!) I don't really fully understand what the counsellor or presenter were saying, though I do really appreciate their concern for porn addicts, and the work of FTND in general. I'm not criticising, just saying, I'm somewhat confused by this presentation.

I used to have a similar issue myself with PMO. Willpower on your own won’t break the stronghold, but rather fasting, prayer, repentance, and belief in Yeshua (Jesus Christ). Studying the Word daily can help. It’s a spiritual battle, not a carnal one that we are battling and it’s a lustful spirit that entered in to us through porn/masturbation. One other important that helped me get rid of a lot of it was watching the kind of content I was consuming like movies, video games, certain music, going out to bars/clubs, etc. Basically do whatever it takes to get the sin out of your life. Be blessed ! You will overcome it. đŸ™đŸœ
Here are some scriptures that can help also.
      Matthew 5:29-30
If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.
      Ephesians: 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
      1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God (Yah) is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Seems a clinical social worker is working outside of her license's scope of practice.
