The oldest temple of Maa Shakumbhari Devi is situated on the Shivalik hills in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. This temple is considered to be the oldest of all the temples of Goddess Shakumbhari. This temple was built by the Pundir Rajputs along with Rana Bahadur Singh Pundir on the ruins of a very old temple. The famous Shakumbhari fairs are organized here on the festival of Navratri and Holi of Ashwin and Chaitra months. This entire region is part of the princely state of Jasmour.
