- Suggested by the unfilmed 1957 David Chantler feature screenplay, and the on-line comic book adaptation by Randy Garrett. It's the equivalent of the old "Imaginary Stories" in Golden Age DC Comics. I thought the world needed a Superman movie with George Reeves... like it almost did have.
Part Two: While reporting on a dangerous new atomic rocket, Clark Kent learns of the kidnapping of the US President, a powerful ray device used in a robbery, and a mysterious shadow in space. This sounds like a job for Superman.

Only thing I did not like was when the crooks shot Superman with their guns at the bank , and the bullets bunch off, they fail to then throw the guns and have Superman duck .
this series is fantastic!!!!. love how you are piecing it together. it reminds of how a comic book story is blocked together or like a story board that is used in the early process of a movie's production. thanks for posting ! For a second there when I heard the name chief O'Hara , I thought that you were going to start the process of weaving in a back story of an alternate earlier job for the chief O'Hara from the 1966 Batman TV series. That would be cool to see a cross over story where 1966 Bats & 1950's Sups meet up while both working on a case that takes their combined efforts to resolve. I sure this took quite the effort to put this together. Thanks for taking the time to make it and post it.
+Collection Obsession Thanks for the kind words. As for BatMan-- I tried to keep everything in the time frame of 1959 or before. But, gosh, what would a superduper Superman movie be without Batman? You might be surprised.
did you use stills from the tv show
This is Excellent work
I do not mean to contradict, you, sir, but the x-ray vision that he used at four minutes, 30 seconds looked more like heat-vision.
You're paying a great deal of attention! The series "Adventures of Superman" made no distinction between X-ray vision, heat vision, super-long-range vision, super-duper microscopic vision or super-irradiate-something-til-it-glows vision. An example of that can be seen in the episode "The Seven Souvenirs." Good call, though.
And, actually, gkpirate, it IS supposed to be X-ray vision-- but since the thingamajig is Kryptonian, his superpowers have no effect and the X-ray power is merely absorbed, hence the glowing.

I thought this was a clip of an actual episode. Not a slideshow. Why not show the actual episode
Because, Adam, this movie never existed. The original episodes are all on DVD, frequently broadcast on nostalgia channels, and available on the internet (black market, yes, but fans still upload them.)
Do Batman
