Karl Bartos ist ein großartiger Mensch. Ich bewundere seine Demut, Bescheidenheit und Erdung. Nach dem Ausstieg von Karl, Wolfgang und dann auch Florian (RIP) war Kraftwerk am Ende. Nachdem ich die Autobiografie von Karl Bartos gelesen habe, war Kraftwerk für mich entmystifiziert. Und er hat das geschafft, ohne dass Hütter/Schneider ihm ihre Anwälte auf den Hals hetzen konnte. Schon das ist eine Leistung. Hätte man ihn damals mehr einbezogen, hätte man viel mehr und weiterhin Großes von Kraftwerk zu hören bekommen (im Prinzip ab Anfang der 80er Jahre). Großartiger Typ, der Karl Bartos.
Ein sympathischer, bodenständiger Mensch, ohne jegliche Allüren (obwohl er sich diese im Gegensatz zu so manchen anderen Künstlern durchaus erlauben dürfte)
Ein äusserst sympathischer Mensch der tolle Musik macht und ein faszinierendes Buch geschrieben hat. Leider kommt er hier kaum zu Wort da die Dame sich offensichtlich nicht vorstellen kann, dass es Menschen gibt die zuerst überlegen bevor sie reden oder zwischendurch eine Gedankenpause machen.
Das Buch ist das beste, was es über Krafwerk zu lesen gibt. Florian, Ralph und Karl, der Drummer. Eines der besten Bücher und sehr angenehm zu lesen. Toll.

I just watched this with closed captions enabled, and as dodgy as they were, I can't help but feel I could sit and talk to Herr Bartos for hours. From the pre-Bartos / Flür era through to Computerweld, these guys had a huge impact on my life. I'd like to convey that to him. If you read this, Karl, thank you for the music you brought to us. :)

We can't say Mr. Huetter killed Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk has functioned well for about a dozen years, that's more than many bands have nowadays. Of course, as a creative musician you can't really be satisfied combining audio snippets on a computer for the rest of your life. On the other hand, the Kraftwerk concept was literally exhausted in the 80s. So you had to move to new galaxies, or you had to be happy with reproducing until the people don't want to hear you anymore. Mr. Huetter seems was happy with the last option, Mr. Bartos not so.
That's why He is the last one of the "good old days" lineup. Maybe à way to say, "it's my thing". Look how hard for others, including BARTOS to be asked questions that do not concern Kraftwerk

It is a music machine that lives from reproducing the stuff they invented many years ago. With that approach the "musicians" are freely exchangeable. Having said that, their concerts are audio-feasts for the ears.
