My boy Draymond is so huge in this game. The minute he comes in the team USA got to a huge run. The little things he does by setting brick screens or catch the ball into a dribble handoff and set the screen all in one single motion is unique in its own. I wonder why doesn't anyone do it more.

One thing I noticed between 2020 and 2012 is 2012 USA pushed the ball to catch the defense off guard but 2020 just brings the ball up like a casual game
I noticed that too. The personnel on this team isn’t as athletic in the open court as those 08 and ‘12 teams were. This ‘21 team wasn’t explosive compared to past Olympic teams with players like bron, wade, Kobe, russ etc that were gunning coast to coast dunking in traffic. I think that’s why they didn’t push the ball like they had in years past. Also coaching change from coach K to pop might be part of the reason 🤷♂️

I think what KD did much better here comparing to first game when US lost was he's being cautious about the foul. Well having 3 and 4 fouls would kind of disturbing for player mentally, so he tried not to have much as long as possible.
And also what US did much better is the defense, they're tidier here. This final is not the NBA quality (much show and action) but it was a great match! USA deserves the Gold medal. I personally think France did better as a team, but unfortunatelly USA put more points.

Fortunately they have lots of emerging superstars in the making (trae, zion, sexton, anthony edwards, lamelo, ja morant, ingram, dearon fox, tatum, so on).
