      @martamaleta  Před 2 lety

      hey, most of the building material was acquired from the land, but metal wires, the sack and some tools closed off in a few hundred €. The most expensive would be manual labour because it requires a lot of helping hands, and if you pay fairly that would be around €9,000

    I like the concept just as I really like Cob but both are sooo labor intensive that all you end up with is a one-room lopsided they never are straight melting ice cream cone of a hut. I can't live in that. Sure you can add on at any time and that's great..but its always going to be another hut stuck to a hut or multiple huts all beside each other in some configuration that never makes sense to the eye. High ceilings are the BOMB but it still doesn't make up for the itty bitty footprint. I'd rather build a dome, get more square footage, and it will be hella less heavy not to mention dirty work to assemble one from a kit for loads more space, even a loft. It won't be free however but I think in the long run you will find that you cannot live happily when you don't have room to change your mind. I think the tiny home movement is flawed.

      Of course it is easiest to use the continuous roll bags these folks have, but I have seen these structures build using rice bags, animal feed bags, sandbags, etc. just make sure to cover the bags to protect them from sunlight (UV breaks down and weakens the plastic pretty quickly, so keep tarps over the walls when not actively building, and apply some kind of plaster or at least paint as soon as possible once built)
