Hey Tim did that fix the problem? My son and i have this truck. All of a sudden today we have no steering. It don't make no noise trying to steer or anything. I am new to rc so don't know a whole lot about them. I did check the wires no loose connection or broke wires. I'm assuming it's the servo. Did yours just do the same and just have no steering everything else works. Also if I change wires around the remote will run forward and reverse with the steering wheel. Any way cant seem to find much on thus problem
UNFORTUNATELY It turned out to be the ESC . I got the new ESC from Amazon , it was cheap and was delivered right to me . Thanks for watching and have a great day.
Im having an issue of the truck working intermittently, if i keep using controls on the truck every 5 or 6 seconds it will work for about 2 seconds then stop again for another 5 or 6 seconds. Totally random. Cant figure it out. I unplugged the servo and it worked the first time i tested but then went back to intermittently working. Also tryed unplugging the shift servo and doesnt work.
Sorry for the late reply . I ended up changing the esc , that seems to have fixed my problems with it . I did have similar issues so might work on your aswell.
