So many great returning features and match types. Especially 40 years of WrestleMania. I haven’t been this excited for a game in a while and I can’t wait to play in March
I also love how The Ultimate Warrior's makeup comes off as the match progresses and that double title matches are in universe mode

you get 21 matches compared to a game from ten years ago you get over thirty matches for WrestleMania.... this game and these developers are lazy now.

I like that they're putting time into the "smaller" tweaks along with adding in some new matches. I want to love Universe and GM mode but I'm guessing we're probably another year away for that to be a bigger focus. Bringing back some of the better features from the SvR series would be great.

2K is really hitting their mark on their current games. They realized that their previous games were bad, so they fixed that issue in future games. Something EA can’t do for their madden games. So glad 2K takes care of their rights to their games.

WWE 2k23 was the first WWE game I ever brought! I now I have 2k24! Two great games so far!
Can't wait to see Chris play 40 years of WM i remember 2 years ago he did 30 yrs of WM 2K14 and i really enjoyed the video this year the game is gonna be so fun to watch with returning features and matches like casket, ambulance and throwing weapons etc ❤

2k24 might possibly be the best game we’ve had in a while with all the things we’re hearing about it. New match types, 200+ on the roster, unlockable myfaction attires, so many more things that are just making it better and better. I’m so excited for it
The 200+ does not impress me anymore since we got like 8 "different" Cenas last year instead of different attires😅

@@infiniter4in178while a fair point. This showcase won’t focus on one wrestler which means less repeats. Also with 200 plus even a insane 50 are repeats(it most likely won’t even touch like 25) we’re still getting over 150 unique wrestlers
the local limit to 2 is probubly cause the backstage is bigger than the ring, so if you all split up and it has to generate four seperate images so you can see your wrestlers thats gonna be hard on your system. thats like 15fps per, and unless your screen is massive a four way split might be hard to see much. online you only generate what your wrestler can see. and the trading blows minigame can be triggered once per match as a limit, with options to set to disabled meaning no mini-game, manual only, automatic only, or both manual and automatic meaning you or the ai can trigger it or itll happen after certain events. the weapon you cant throw is the belt, out of respect for them and it probubly being a tad harder to animate.

honestly, the game looks improved but i will never stop not liking the "guess the button to reverse" gameplay, and the stun mechanic also

i miss the mini collar and elbow tie up game at the beginning. I liked the head locks and wear downs. Now I can just power bomb people and it's not earned. They need to fix the tag team play,

I would like to see Universe Mode to be given a Create a story overhaul in the line of Prewriting shows months in advance before it even happens. If someone gets injured, everything halts, and you'll have to figure out the next thing to do. I think that would be a great breath of fresh air for universe mode.

I'm looking forward to seeing footage of MyGM mode. I enjoy playing it on WWE 2K23 and I want to see what it bring in this years iteration.
I like how "quality of life" has turned into a buzz phrase and now it's so overused that it's become vague and almost completely meaningless.

I dropped off playing WWE 2K games after the 2018 edition. I Returned for 2023 edition. The trailer enticed me with some of the new features, Wargames , and the art box for the deluxe edition went hard. So I’m excited for this years with everything I’d seen and heard so far. My real only complaint is universe mode. Rivalry system is busted. You need a creative imagination to have fun in universe mode.
Hopefully the games gonna get better, I miss wrestling games when they were fun like the older SVR games or the Smackdown SYM & HCTP games.

I mostly look forward to backstage and match types as well as customization. As long as that's improved, I'm happy.
I think AEW is to thank for a lot of the improvements, a lot of the improvements are the few things AEW did really right
I have a STRONG feeling and I trust they are building up for a create a story return eventually and I think and HOPE like every true wrestling game fan that they will eventually start getting much more innovative and start making things much more better over time at a rapid rate even

They are not going to focus on that sadly ever again, because all of the data goes into my rise and my faction .

Hopefully one of the quality of life updates is overhauling the search in community creations. Like why can’t we just search Jeff Hardy and only have Jeff Hardy CAWs come up.
Hopefully now that Chris is a pro wrestler and damn good one! Someday in the future he will be in WWE game!
Quality of life mostly means accessibility and tools to make the game play better/mechanically, not features.

Sometimes I get the feeling, people forget about the fact, that until and including WWE 2K20, the Games were produced by Yukes, which were tired or more so didn't like the simulation Style that much, which they had to do.
on the other hand there's visual concepts, getting handed a half finished game with 2k20. THEN having the balls to skip a year and since then they do nothing but, well, impress...
22 was finding the foundation
23 was getting it to their personal standards
24 is bringing back what, I think even they feel, shouldn't have been taken out. as if they owe it to us players, with, maybe still holding something (like an I quit match?) back for the next years.
But I feel like VC really likes, loves doing those Games now.
I saw makers meet uo with wrestlers. I wondered, what if Chris Denker met CM Punk and talked about that media scrum parody 😂.

I2 new things I really like are the ability to climb the anounce table and blood sticks to the mat now
The weapon physics look sweet. Wanted them to bring back the ability to stack tables, though.
Might as well hold out until 2K25 in a few months from now.

one of my favorite things in wrestling games is creating a wrestler I like creating each and every feature of the wrestler

2K23 is, on PC, my most played WWE game by far at 221 hours, and the point you made about playing the recent game more often than the last is a good point! I played 2K19 for 186.4 hours, and that's including the time between 20 and 23's release - which, technically, is worse if you think about it. 186 hours over a few years isn't good compared to 200+ within a year.
I really hope those QoL updates are true with Create-an-entrance being adjusted with the intro slots (which so far looks to be the case), as well as fixing the generic lighting options just not working, apparently. And of course, a better highlight reel.
3310 hours on 2k19. Years of online lol. 21 hours on 2k23. And haven't bought any others. Won't be buying 24. What's worse is, without owning 2k22. You can make it using 2k23 files and even get the 22 logo to show up. You're paying for patches. So silly. Americans are so slow.
