I cryed watching the movie .the best john trovlta movie ever. When I see my fire fighters leave the station across from me I stop bow and or wave and people walking the sidewalk next to me ask why ,I say you never know if they will make it home and I now and pray

This guy is a national treasure. I still listen to the native songs from the 90s. He writes like magic it doesn’t sound obvious and flows. I might be off but the words actually mean something. Some of his songs sound 60/70 ish this guy should have more credit shortage of real artists

Robertson's management company said the guitarist, singer and songwriter died Wednesday August 9, 2023 in Los Angeles after a long illness. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Robertson had roots in both the Mohawk community at the Six Nations Reserve, as well as the Jewish enclave of his home city’s downtown. Robertson wrote a lot of the Band’s best known songs, like “The Weight,” “Up On Cripple Creek” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down.” Martin Scorsese filmed and directed the Band's 1976 farewell concert “The Last Waltz” and after that, starting in 1980, Robertson worked as a composer on some of Scorsese’s films, like “Raging Bull,” “The King of Comedy,” “Gangs of New York,” “The Departed,” “Shutter Island,” “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Silence” and “The Irishman.” The Band is in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The National Academy of Songwriters awarded Robertson a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997.

Deep respect for the firemen. When everyone runs away from a burning building, the firemen rushes in. There is no greater love than a fireman's.
