Insane Afternoon of Glide Bait Fishing! (KGB Chad Shad)

- Welcome back!
Got out for a quick trip after work and put in some work! Found a good group of bass bombarding shad against the bridge and proceeded to catch them nonstop for 3 hours! I narrowed it down to the best 15 or so catches out of 29 on the KGB Chad Shad and put them together for the video! This is the best night of fishing I have ever had out of the kayak and probably ever will have! Especially glide bait fishing! The Floating version of the resin KGB Chad Shad was key in burning this bait. The fish were suspended 1-3 ft deep waiting to attack! I caught all these fish sitting in 45ft of water or so burning the bait just under the surface! It definitely made for some cool C2C! This was a once in a blue moon opportunity and I am thankful to hit the bite window just right! Thank you all for watching! Enjoy!

I've only caught them in a frenzy like that once. There were 3 of us n there was at least a fish on 1 line for over an hour straight. The 3 of us still talk about that day

Awesome! What rod power do you use for throwing KGB?
In this video I was using an 7'3 Shimano SLX A Swimbait Rod Moderate Fast I believe. I now have a KGB rod that was made to throw his baits. Its a 7'11 heavy.

About 20+ but the fish were all suspended just under the surface killing shad.
Is that a Curado reel? What speed?
What handle is that?
Yes, it is the HG so I believe a 7 Speed with a Gomexus Handle.
@@TM_Outdoorz ok thanks. I probably should have asked if it was the 200 or the Curado 300 HG. That reel is a 6.6:1 but is 35IPT so pretty fast. Anyway, you had a day like most people don’t even dare to dream of 👍🏻

yooooo you really need to be more gentle unhooking your fish. If you will grab their lower lip or hold them around their back, they'll stop wiggling so much. But if they're suspended from hooks and a line out of water, they're for sure going to be jumping around. Nice catches though. I've never seen someone burn it like that. But please be more gentle with them.
I had no net...i know how to unhook a fish I promise.
