A local blogging friend asked me if I could make a slipcover for the IKEA HENRIKSDAL bar stool. She bought three for her new kitchen renovation and wanted covers that fit in with her style. All the slipcovers on the market just didn't have the charm and tailored feel she was hoping for.
I have never sewn a parsons chair slipcover before, but I knew I was up for the challenge. After all, it couldn't be any harder than a wingback chair slipcover!
I loved the fabric as soon as I saw it. I knew it would make an amazing slipcover for the IKEA HENRIKSDAL bar stool. The ticking stripe transforms the basic bar stools into gorgeous chairs with farmhouse style.
