    I really love this support. Not only did it address Gishki issues, but it also made older cards playable instead of just replacing them in Gishki. Plus since no OPT they can build a engine with Splight and Elf has a field day lol.

    • @GakuKodori
      @GakuKodori Před 2 lety +10

      There was really no way they could replace the older cards, they are just too good, neither of them are once per turn. Konami did a incredible job with this support to take advantage of their incredible cards, I just love Gishkis so much!

      @@GakuKodori Same I know Gishki still has a rep for the hand destruction loop back in the day but I like the direction this support went. Giving them additional extenders, resource management and going 2nd with their new ritual spell.

      Only splight, the water monsters has to be aqua, otherwise you can't summon Toadally Awesome.

    Some other things that work pretty good.
    Normal Summon Zaphion, attack your Opponent, get rid of the Backrow, tribute her for Nereimanas, draw a card, revive her, go into Coral Anemone, draw a card, revive Zaphion, go into Abyss Keeper to summon a Fish Monster and draw a card. You heard correctly. You can draw 3 cards with this combo, because Zaphion has no OPT Effect and because of the „If“ it doesn’t miss the timing.
    There is also something funny about Cartorhyn the Hidden Gem of the Seafont. If you summon Grif and get Abyss and go into Cross-Sheep, discard Cartorhyn and summon another Abyss or a Beast from your hand, you have a WATER and an EARTH Monster which brings Cartorhyn back. And Cross-Sheep is always good for extra Draw Power.

      @@vendettadechoses8792 i mean with blue you can go blue>jet>starter/the banish
      It would be just skiping blue but the end combo would be basically the same(if you can spend on the spright starter) of course its better with blue bc its more card advantage

    Qué increíbles partidas, una mejor que la anterior, Me encanta lo bien que se complementa con los Splight sin que las restricciones sean muy duras, te quedó hermoso el deck.
    12:15 creo que ahí debiste añadir al Gishki de nivel 10 para hacer ritual usando un monstruo oponente y luego usar la magiaa Splight.

    on your first match with swordsoul at 1:11 . how did you tribute swordsoul chixiao using gishki ice mirror then summoned nereimanas? it says on the card text that you need to tribute monsters whose total levels are exactly the level of the monster you ritual summon wherein swordsoul chixiao is level 8 while nereimanas is level 10. am i missing anything here.

    • @coco__lry
      @coco__lry Před 2 lety +3

      I was wondering too, but if you read ice mirror carefully, the "the sum of levels must equal the level of the gishki ritual" part only applies when you tribute your own monsters. Therefore, the first effect of ice mirror is simply "tribute a monster your opponent controls (no matter its level, actually you can also tribute a monster without level like an xyz or a link) to special summon a gishki ritual monster from your hand, and that's treated as a ritual summon. Yeah, pretty good ritual spell

    • @solution5879

    Es realidad es buen soporte, pero para jugarlo puro es demasiado frágil a todooo. Por ahí se puede combinar bien con dogmatika aunque juntarlo con splight es la mejor opción. Ahora hagan algo con los Nekroz, Konami!! >:/

  • @Fukers
    @Fukers Před 2 lety +1

    WTF the ritual spell doesn't need to tribute monsters your opponent controls with the same level as the ritual? it's just ANY monster your opponent controls?

    • @anonjohn9760
      @anonjohn9760 Před 2 lety +6

      For now. Their is some confusion and disagreement over the translation of the card, so time will tell if it keeps that effect or if you need exact levels.

    • @asteriart7814
      @asteriart7814 Před 2 lety +2

      Yeah. The pay off with using your opponents monster is that you take damage but don't need to match the levels.

    @otangakudyokeman7124 Před 2 lety

    When is it Nekroz tho Konami?
    they need the SAME trap, a boss monster like the new one they got BUT that negates ANYTHING and not once per turn OR an unaffected Boss monster!! Give ma boy Shurit some love (or a new version of their own djinn lol)

    • @GundamMeister9001

      You never played vs Ritual decks before? Gishiki also can play through any hand trap that isn’t Droll, and a lot of the cards are not HOPT, or even once per turn. Plus, this version runs Spright. So you gonna Ashe the first thing Gishiki does… then get Gustkraken summoned on you, handlooping another card while putting another body on board, linking off for Spright Elf, and then Gishiki combo off anyways. Also, Duel Evolutions tends to play consistency for going both or second (probably due to the nature of his Bo1 videos). The deck will probably run Psy-frame gamma.
      So go ahead and drop an Ashe on Gishiki, if it’s not Droll or D-shifter it ain’t doing shit lol
