I was initially disappointed that they changed how Gorr looks, but now I'm interested, because it looks like his appearance changes over the course of the film to become more monstrous.

When I was a little kid, I didn’t really like Thor. Growing up he became one of favorite Marvel characters. I love how he went from having a big ego to becoming more caring and more responsible. After Ragnarok, I became even even a bigger fan of him, they did an amazing job on that movie. Hopefully this movie carries just like the other one. This movie already looks beautiful and I can’t wait to see Jane by Thors side again. Can’t wait for this movie!

10/10 anticipation. Bale looks MAD as Gorr, I think his face is going to deteriorate as the movie moves along, into his comic accurate appearance. This is my #1 for the year by far.

What I’m saying is that the nature of the source material lends itself very well to a humorous approach, like what Waititi has tried to do. If they tried to do Thor in a modern serious film tone, it would be boring and uninspired.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, every time she uses it to transform, she gets closer and closer to dying of cancer.
I really hope this movie is about Thor's growth and not so much Jane's. Sounds kinda crappy when I put it like that, but I feel like in Endgame he really got nerfed and didn't live up to his full potential. It felt like all his character development up to Infinity War was thrown away for a gag. Not to mention in recent Marvel adaptations, another introduced character always outshines the protagonist and it never really feels justified. Like I hope Jane has moments where she's still trying to learn how to wield Mjolnir properly and Thor acts like a mentor to help Jane, and thus potentially rekindling their relationship or even building a better friendship. But if they end up doing a gag where Jane is just "better" than Thor, even though he's had centuries of experience and training, I'll just be disappointed. Then again, Taika Waititi did a great job of introducing Valkyrie as a character who doesn't outshine Thor or Hulk, and showing that she's just a badass in her own right. They end up supporting each other and it really just makes the movie feel great. So here's to hoping that they really do it justice, because I really think Thor has one of if not the best character arcs in the MCU.

Those Sin City looking shots are simply spectacular. This movie looks bloody amazing, and cannot wait for it.
Already can tell great visuals and action some questionble humor and character growth and a potential storyline is what I got from this. It seems like at the very least going to be a mindless fun action movie with the potential to be more. Christian bale definally seems like the best part of the trailer. I hope he stays this serous throughout the movie and I hope Thor is serious when going against him.
