How does a blending video get better than this!! thank you
Aww thanks! Glad to help!
Caleigh, I've been painting for 5 or 6 years now, mostly learned on youtube. I always look for videos on topics i already "know" so maybe I can pick up on some little trick. The scumbling on a surface your already wet-on-wet blended is going to be a game changer. I know it. Thanks!
Woo hoo! So glad I could help! I love those a-ha moments so much - happy blending!
PS I've been oil painting for 15 years now and I watch the occasional 'how to' vids as well and still manage to pick up new skills. I fully believe in learning forever too!!
This was brilliant, thanks!
This video is beyond awesome. Useful and to the point for beginners like myself. I love it, thank you so much!
Perfect! I was hoping it would give some new artists a bit of confidence:)

This is magic !! Thankyou for sharing the tip!have a request -- can you please pull the camera away so that beginner's can see what the effect is from a distance
Great idea! I'll keep that in mind next time I do a vid like this. Thanks for watching!!
I prefer the wet on dry method 👍🏾
Yeah I definitely use that method for certain effects too:)
Scumbling is like glazing? How is glazing different?
I just grab the brush and clean off the color, than pat it dry, and gently smudge the wet Into the wet paint 🤔
Sounds like a good technique!
