I have a question, I have an MBA and would like to transition from higher education (I also have experience in medical office management) into an accounting role. So, I hold and MBA and my undergraduate degree was a general BS degree in “Professional Studies”- no experience in a specific accounting role- would you advise me to get a master’s in accounting or could my MBA help me to get an accounting type job? Would you advise me to become certified in Quickbooks or any other accounting software before I begin applying for accounting jobs? Thank you for your insight!
