      Have you seen their schedule the first 7 games? It's soft as hell. They are still Nebraska so they will probably be 4-3, but its very soft.

    I was 150% Aaron - his Road trip selections were KILLING it .......until week 6 when he stepped up to the diving board and belly flopped into a pool of dog poop.

    I've been to The Big House dozens of times! Each time it's a thrill! Also, I'm only 50 miles from Notre Dame, and been there many times (to cheer for the opponent) Steve: I'll see you there vs Oregon!

    Aaron and Steve,I drive a semi for a living,when I started 20 years it was a blast,but it's work now,luckily I've put enough away to be able to retire in 6 years at 62,lot people will not be able to do that,but the laws and the roads now make it not fun

    Very surprised neither of you picked a Northwestern home game that isn’t at Wrigley and instead at their new makeshift home field that doubles as their lacrosse/soccer stadium. A Big 10 football game with a high school atmosphere right along Lake Michigan? That’s crazy unique.

    You talk about visiting all the "venerable stadiums" but completely skip visiting the Coliseum, also USC and ND have alternated home-away with October in South Bend in odd years and the last week of the season in LA in even years since 1960 with the exceptions of 1978 when they ended the regular season playing at Hawaii, 2004, 2006 and 2008 they played ND first then UCLA the following week. So in 64 years since they agreed to flipping October/November USC has not ended the year playing ND in even years only 4 times.

    One thing I’ve learned about RVs from watching my in-laws with theirs is they break all the time it seems like they have theirs in the shop at least once every season and they bought it brand new

      I have a rv made in 2001 that I've had for 5 years and the only problem I've had is 3 blown out tires. that was my fault, though, because I didn't get new ones.

    aaron, pretty close to what I was thinking..........
    20 teams = "Big10+10"
    4 divisions of 5 teams
    You always play your 4 teams in your division plus all 5 from one of the other division (rotates) so still 9 conference games
    With 100% head to head within these annual pairings you end up with 2 teams for Conference Championship game

    • @davidsnyder2284
      @davidsnyder2284 Před měsícem

      Oh, forgot the prospective makeup of those 4 divisions (note original 10 conference members "reunited" into 2 of the divisions):
      A) Ohio State, Michigan, Mich St, Indiana, Purdue
      B) Wisc, Minn , Illinois, Iowa, NW
      C) Penn St, Maryland, Rutgers, X, X
      D) SC, UCLA, Oregon, Wash, Nebraska

    • @seanmiller8151
      @seanmiller8151 Před měsícem

      That’d be epic. PSU not playing OSU/UM every year would be a bummer though

    • @davidsnyder2284
      @davidsnyder2284 Před měsícem

      @@seanmiller8151 we have that now currently (just so happens they do play this year). On the plus side, they don't have to run that gauntlet every year so maybe they'd be fairly content with it

  • @charliethompson21

    Instead of the B1G format you guys suggested - playing three games against teams from the same placement in the other three divisions - play one division in addition to your own each year. That’s nine conference games. If each team from your division plays each team from another, the top team from the two divisions is in the B1G championship game. That way, the other two divisions can have the same competition. Additionally, the division, your face off against each year changes. This insures you play everyone at least once every three years.

    Gen Z michigan fan here.
    If i had to choose between osu and Oregon, id rather play OSU. If you gave me Penn State or Oregon id take Penn State. And finally, if you made me choose between michigan state amd oregon, Id choose MSU.
    However, after that, any team that michigan would normally play, id rather play oregon. 🤷

    Do away with all permanent rivalry games, no reason for michigan/osu to have to play each other in the regular season. Puts both school's at a disadvantage with how trash most of the other b10 schools are.

    No, No, No to your silly pod idea, Aaron. Two divisions...a best and worst. The "best" are playing for the conference championship. Employ a relegation process... the "worst" are playing for the right to move up to the "best" division. Everyone plays all the teams in their division. These ridiculously unbalanced as schedules have got to end.
