Man, Ufotable's decision not to voice Shirou's thoughts really bit them in the ass in this scene. You'd have to read the VN to know Shirou was deliberately trolling her. Instead, he comes off as a generic dense MC.
I can understand their decision in not having a lot of inner monologue for Shirou, since it can become annoying and more along the lines of 'telling, not showing. But with that said, if they're going to have inner monologue anyway they might as well go all out and do it.

If you have an eye for animation you'll realize that they actually animated Rin's finger tapping to speed up, to show how annoyed she's getting, then slow down when she catches sight of him and stop when she turns completely. Kudos to ufotable!
The idea of the perfect Rin getting so angry was so bizarre and alien to their minds that they erased the memory of those few seconds to keep their mental image pure.

Most anime fans misunderstand him for a generic Shounen protagonist, when in reality he's not. You can search it in internet if you want to install it. Fate has some of the weirdest family dynamics I've ever seen. Both their fathers attempted to murder eachother, Rin is Sakura's sister but is close to Shirou who happens to be the adopted son of the man who had Illya, but Illya doesn't know that aswell but also takes a liking to Shirou.

It sure was funny, however, that you were able to choose how to react to this situation in the VN. When I chose to confront her openly about it she got all flustered.
