The narrator would do well to seek the services of an English Dialog Coach, learning to correctly name British place names and (importantly) their correct pronunciation.
Leonard pierce was brilliant I liked uncle Albert but Leonard piece was in a different league . This programme was the most exquisite piece of writing you could at times see what was coming but still it didn’t spoil the need to watch it. One moment you could be rolling with laughter the next you could have a tear in your eye . Just amazing .
I met Nicholas Lindhurst many times at Shoreham Airport in the early 1990's when he was learning to fly. How ?? I owned the aircraft he used for training. (G-BTAP if anyone cares). Away from the rest of the cast he was a really nice guy. Definately more than 2 'O' levels. We sat and drank coffee together in the schools clubhouse while discussing my aircraft and his training. Great days.
I saw Gwyneth Strong about 3yrs ago in Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap. Roger Lloyd Pack also had a small part as a transvestite in The Naked Civil Servant.
The American narration is unacceptable - whether it’s a real person or not. This classic tv comedy is as British as it gets and it’s absurd to hear an American voice telling us all about it.

Ìþs an A I Robot.
For example it was ‘zed’ cars not ‘zee’ cars

Some of the clips you showed for Paul barber wernt Paul barber bit insulting 😮
This would have been worth watching if it had not had an awful American voice over. Big turn off.
It's AI......

Absolutely ridiculously narrated by a robot. Actually sounds like Jo Biden trying to read a teleprompter 🤣😂😂🤣

Why was there a picture of Paul Whitehouse in the "Grandad" section? 🤣 I know he was in the musical, but the discussion was about Lennard pearce!
I saw it too 😂
RL-P played a great villain on The Bill
Zed cars is the "pronunciation"
its z cars not zed cars
@@garypring2658 Zed, has been all my life, from childhood to now 65. Its English tv pronounced "Zed" not "Zee"
Denzil Barber as Luther? or Paul Barber as Denzil
Awful narration. Tie-land.
Not forgetting that German bloke as Rodney...Lind Hurst
That picture a 9.33 is not Pearce, It is Paul Whitehouse.
Teach the text to speech narrator correct UK pronouciation esp names and place names.

Yeah he was a bank manager in Thames Ditton Surrey
Where I grew up
I couldn’t believe it when my mum said uncle Albert was here bank manager
Fare-um
50 seconds had to turn it off
Terrible narration
People really need to learn to articulate.
It's AI.......
@@JohnSmith-il3kv yeah i know mate thats why i said people need to learn to articulate 👍🏻
@@Wearethewingmakers Yeah, PEOPLE do.....but AI needs to be programmed to articulate.
@@JohnSmith-il3kv so do people 👍🏻
Just to reiterate the narration was awful, why not get an educated person, preferably British, as the American narrator has not got a clue.
Dreadful AI narration.
Most of this cast are dead....
