Nah... Im just here to look at why it looks so weird
Not even close
3:25 5:02 his follow-through fingers point to the right. He can be a better shooter if he fixes this issue.
Also, to this video, you should add the space creation that he needs to do to get that shoot off because there is a hitch. For people who are not 6’10 this shot isn’t getting off. His shot has three motions in it. Catch dip shoot he could even before because he hast to change his hand placement so if you aren’t getting great separation or you aren’t 6’10 this isn’t gonna work.
He’s 6’8 bro calm down 💀
Im 6'2

Wow
I’ve been watching the finals and something just looks weird about his form when he isn’t in a spot up. It’s like he winds-up the ball from his hip area and takes forever to release. When he isn’t catching and shooting it’s almost always a miss shot. At lease in the finals so far (game 2)
do Carmelo
The classical school of perfect alignment? Who is his shooting coach?
Drew Hanlen
Do Anthony Edwards jumpshot
there is some jerky movement before he brings the ball up to his set point, actually his form has already improved a lot, look at his old tapes before nba, it was horrible. but still a lot of rooms to improve, thats why he is not consistent.
The most helpful thing i took from him was his elbow being tucked in alot
Probably the best form i have ever seen
Tip: if your right handed hold the side with your right instead of the left, hold the back with your left because Tatum is left handed
JT is right handed.
best style in nba history
Why he doesn’t jump
He has an high arch don’t think he has 2
High release + he’s 6’9
When your taller stronger and have a higher release point you don’t really gotta jump as much your arms are gonna do a lot of the work for you especially him having a 7 foot wingspan with the unique way he creates a the letter c witht he way he brings it up that motion itself creates a lot of momentum for the ball hood that isn’t too long winded😂
His shot very bad…..
