Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles. - Sport

Imagine if Atiba was also good is skateboarding for sure the skateboarding scene will be a ot more different today. But man Prod and Cris Cole never gets old. Feliz cumpleaños Paul! I remember back in the 2000's you were epitome on how switch stance should look like i know there are so many good skateboarder that is good in switch stance but Prod switch stance looks natural and smooth. Have a healthy 2024 Prod hope to see you compete again on any event. Without Prod we would'nt have guys like Shane O'niel and Tpuds. Prod and Cris Cole inspires not just the young generation but also the mid life skateboarders coming in their 40's just like me to still enjoy skateboarding and have fun.

You guys know any tricks? I never really seriously thought about being a professional skateboarder until what 2 years ago. And mostly because of a dare. I felt that’s something for the kids not a crusty old adult. Unfortunately I’ve been injured almost the entire two years. But I made some adjustments and I’m coming in as strong as I’ve ever been in 2024. What I’m trying to say is thanks. I guess I could have just commented “thanks”
