This is the best recipe I have tried so far with this vermicelli bowl, I have tried others and I can honestly say that this one is my favorite and taste exactly like the ones at the store. I replaced my pork with beef and it still tasted amazing! I am soo fully satisfied. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
This is the best recipe I’ve tried. This recipe has been saved and will be one of our main recipe to use over and over again. Thank you so much for sharing!!
This is the best recipe, hands down. I prefer this recipe over any Vietnamese restaurant. I was able to create my favorite dish and share it with my family, who didn’t believe it was homemade. All I need now is a good egg roll and shrimp recipe to tie this all together!
Thanks for watching. To marinate the pickle radish and carrot, there's water, salt, sugar and vinegar. The sauce to pair with the noodles and grilled pork has lemon, sugar, fish sauce...etc...
@@BinhPhanChannel I made some more. 7 pounds of meat from Costco (I saved some for pulled pork). It took a *long* time. Kid still didn't like the whole dish, just the meat, so I ate his, too!
I'm writing this all down so I can make it again because my wife has been asking. At 0:27, it says 3-5 T sugar. It doesn't look like you added that much. That would be a *LOT* of sugar. Can you confirm that it is correct to use *three to five tablespoons* , which is equals nine to fifteen teaspoons?! Thanks!
@@BinhPhanChannel thank you so much for the recipe!!!! I think it would turn out diff if I used lemon grass. Bc it’s grass I’m sure there would have been more herbiness to it. Also it’s hard to find red chili peppers around here let alone Thai ones so that def compromised the flavor of the dressing for the noodles. But all in all it turned out so awesome! I’m so happy I found this recipe! Thank you so much I will be keeping this one in my recipe book!
There's a lot more stuff in the pork marinade than I've ever seen. I'd like to try it, but at the 2:00 mark, you show "3 tablespoons light sauce sauce." Is it a typo, or is that really a thing?
Thanks for the quick reply! I made it today. My wife "thoroughly enjoyed it." I loved it, too, but my fifteen year old son was "not a fan," although he ate all his meat! The meat was very tasty. I cooked it over charcoal in a grill basket that I bought today. Thank You!
Will this taste different without the lemongrass? I know that's a "duh" question, but I'm so hungry right now, I have two pork chops in the fridge, all the other ingredients but no lemongrass! 😯😭😭😭😃
@Ceecee - i have tried without lemongrass before. It doesn't change the taste. Lemongrass just enhance the fragrance but omitting will still make the dish taste good.
I can't believe how much sugar is in this dish. 😳 Especially when the sauces you add also contain sugar,as well as the honey? Has Vietnamese food always contained so much sugar in history?
@@BinhPhanChannel Its not the taste that is concerning but it's the amount of sugar that's not good for you at all. It looks good but I would skip sugar completely and find a more natural way to sweeten a bit.😊
This looks great. I'm cooking this tonight. Vietnamese food is amazing. Asian cuisine is the best, tastiest and healthiest, second to none.

Best recipe ever

I am going to Make the vermicelli noodles tomorrow
Wonderful! glad you like it.
What do you do with the sauce in the beginning with the lemon, sugar, fish sauce, red peppers, garlic, water? It looks great! Thanks for sharing

thank you! 💙
I partially froze the pork before running it through the slicer and it worked very well. *Not* frozen as hard as a brick.
Great Idea! thanks

what is a good sustitute for the lemon grass ? so difficult to find here.
Do you have Kaffir Lime Leaves where you live? The Kaffir Lime Leaves smell really good and it goes well with marinate pork, chicken and beef
Okay half these ingredients like HOisen sauce, lemon grass and korean barb que sazuche are not available everywhere. Any ideas what to do with that?
There are Asian groceries store online that will send to you. I shop with them: like importfood.com/
If its just for 2 people can I just cut the pork marinade portions in half?
Sure, but this pork marinate freezes really well too
Is pork tenderloin ok?
Bạn ơi, I made this and it turned out better than any vietnamese restaurant! Cảm ơn bạn!!!
Thank you so much ;)
I don’t have lemon grass can I use the rinds of a lemon?
I have not tried it with lemon zest. It would not be as fragrance. But I would love to know if it turn out great for you
