Heather ❤ thanks for being so open about your childhood! I rarely hear anyone talk about how as an adult you can still be so affected by what people told you in your childhood. I feel the same way! I got told soooooo many times that I was too shy and quiet, that I always look sad/angry and that I look at people to directly and too long when they are talking.
I don’t even know who I really am sometimes. I try to break free from that prison people put me in but it is hard when you don’t really know who you really are. I am always worried about if I am too quiet, if my face looks too angry/sad (hello resting face?!) or if I look at people too intensely so I sometimes don’t look anyone in the eyes when walking through town.

I love my subaru!! I also looked at the Rav4 but I've had my crosstrek for almost 4 years now and have never regretted it! I don't have a dog though so I can totally understand going with the outback.

Heather!!!! I’m from Texas and lived in Austin for 4 years for college and LOVED it. I will say it gets a bit busier once college students are back in the fall, so I would recommend a weekend trip to feel it out then. I live in Dallas now and miss the active lifestyle I feel everyone in Austin lives. Next time you go, go to 360 outlook or mount bonnell for some (very light) hiking!!! Views are beautiful too. Idk I just love Austin because it’s a city but still has more of a “small town” vibe. Happy you had a good time!!!!!!!!!!

Girl come to Austin! It's very you-coded. Every time I make friends with someone here they're trying to get me to come paddle board or hike. It is always so humid out here though. That's the only thing. Hot + humid all the time
I have an Outback and I think you’ll keep loving it! Bit of advice, make sure you car insurance has windshield replacement 0 deductible added. Subaru windshields are thinner bc of the eyesight feature and a rock cracked mine :(
