Not really.. it's just too much. the texture of the flower seems a bit off and is bugging me. there's a reason why it's not a shoot and I agree with them not giving it. it only looks good because it is very very big... that's it. nothing shoot worthy
Man the runways this season have been just so fucking solid every runway I’m excited. This season in general I get exited just in the renaissance of drag race right now.
I’ve been so entertained by how amazing everyone is! The judging is going to come down to silly little details because this is such a strong group imo.

Nymphia's ball look what better than this look on its own, but even on the flowers runway, Plasma's look was still better. I'm noting saying that the look is bad, it just falls flat as it's just a big flower, while Plasma has classy silhouette, big hat, sassy cane/umbrella, and the flower embellishments are just a chef's kiss.

There's something about Plasma's look that just really spoke to me bc of where I'm from. It's like Madame Southern belle meets old Hollywood, like she was an Azalea Trail Maid in her youth before she became a famous actress. Très magnifique, and definitely a SHOOT for me!

I got it, and it was cute. I also adore Raja and Raven, which is why I hope they take a chance to learn about Dawn's perspective. Sure, it's cosplay but cosplay IS drag. Her garmet was beautiful, but we booted it because of the makeup? Really? It wasn't even all of the makeup?
@@gaffawebber The styling was poor. The dress was great but ultimately the styling failed it which made the concept hard to grasp and the overall look not so good. I don’t know what she was cosplaying but no one critiqued her for cosplaying.
@@jacksonsimmons4511 raja didnt boot her and even appreciated it, it was raven who booted. And that just shows how art is subjective and different people appreciate different things. I dont think raven was being shady, just honest about her own opinion.
When it comes to art there are no hard and fast rules on what is "good", but there sure are conventions and more widely appealing guidelines. Further, while fashion incorporates art, it is rooted in design, and design has even more rigid guidelines on what is good/not good, based on what humans / people in fashion/design generally favour.
In the end, an opinion on art/design pieces all depends on the individual. If you are an individual who subscribes to a certain set of guidelines/ aesthetics then youll appreciate works that follow those principles more. Raven clearly sees where dawn falls short in meeting these widely-recognised standards, and raja, like you, who doesnt fully subscribe to them, but rather another aesthetic (like maximalism, etc.) can appreciate what dawn has put up.

Honestly, I thought there were multiple shoots this week - so many stunning looks that were perfectly executed and delightfully unique - ESPECIALLY given how tired and basic a theme like "flowers" could've been!
I think the inspiration behind Xunami Muse’s dress was Galliano for Dior who did a flower runway. Not so much the look but the idea of the upside down flower. But the cellophane shawl is wrong, in the Dior runway the models had those gorgeous cellophane fascinator.

Season 16 is probably the best overall runway season so far. Raven with a couple of boots each episode, and Raja with usually just 1 on average. These witches can be BRUTAL some other seasons.
