If you liked Coraline, try their more recent ballad Valentine. If you like Rage against the Machine, they did a collab with RATM guitarist Tom Morello -- the song is "Gossip"-- just be aware the song itself is not in RATM style. But the video is fun. For live performances, check out their 2023 Tokyo concert. There are some high quality videos of that on "The Loneliest Channel" here on CZcams.

Definitely check them out live, saw them in December, best gig in years. There is a live gig from Tokyo from last December which is pretty wood quality. Also a live st from the Howard Stern show with Tom Morello
Maneskin is a Danish word (bassist Victoria's mother was Danish...she died ) which means Moonlight and the correct pronunciation is Mo neh skin but also the guys in the band prefer Ma neh skin like you said the first time but not the second. Please listen to Valentine or The Driver are their best recent songs more "mature " than this

Yes, your pronunciation of their name is almost there. It's a danish word, and that "å" must be pronounced more like a "OH".(Moh-neh-skin)
They call themselves a "Horny Rock" band, so you can figure out where all that sexual/erotic appeal lyrics come from!
You surely should watch and react to their live performances!
To get the 1st glance, understand the lyrics and get a pure sound, the official videos are great.
But to get the entire "Jewel" and absorb all they give to the fans, their live performances are the way to go!

As a Dane, I find their name kinda funny.
Cause is't the danish word for moonlight (or moon shine if you translate it directly.)
I believe their bassplayer came up with the name, and she's half danish. 🙂
yeah, they needed a name for the band when they signed up for a competition for bands when they were first starting out as teenagers. So they asked Vic to say some Danish words till they found one that sounded ok, with full intention to change it later. But then they won the competition, and the name stuck ;-)
