  • I've been needing to rotate the tires and at the same time, I've wanted to get rid of the mud scrapers that always seem to harbor rocks. The last time I went for a big ride a rock must have got wedged in that mud scraper and it carved a groove in the wheel. So, it's time for them to GO! I personally don't think they are worth having, but it's your call if you want to keep them or not. They are easy to remove.
While I'm at it, I take a look at the brakes. This machine has only 1000 miles on it, but they are fairly hard miles. I also go over a few things to look for before you go out on a long adventure. It's always a good idea to give your machine a good once over before a trip.
I'll post the tools I use below in the form of Amazon affiliate links. I REALLY appreciate all the people that have been using the links to buy products, every little bit helps the channel. It's funny that you use antiseze, and I use locktight lol

Thanks for watching! Yeah, I've had good luck with all my brake stuff using anti-seize. I do use locktite on some fasteners as well however!

Im thinking of upgrading the suspension on my rmax --its a great machine but the ride is a little stiff for my liking…..what are your thoughts and feed back

That's a good question. There are a few options out there from what I've heard. A lot of people seem to like Schmidty Racing and revalve.

What kind of grease do you use. Thanks

Thanks for the question, I've been using a synthetic grease that seems to hold up well. I'll post an Amazon link for you:

Do you worry about mixing yamlube grease with what you buy? I like the mobil 1 syn grease myself.

Yeah, Mobil is good too! I'm not too worried about mixing, I think the biggest thing is just keeping stuff lubed up well.@@jamiehughes7761
