Love this system! I have a zone system all written out in a notebook with dividers but this I believe will work better with the way my brain operates. The tactile, hands on, visual of seeing what is left for the day, I think all of this will help me more. Love the old school too, this is how I worked as a young girl in offices, so I also find it comforting. I even have a recipe box and cards to get started! Thank you so much for your video, hope this finds you well, God bless!

Your explanation while showing your cards is incredibly helpful. Thank you for taking the time to show us. My brain is whirring on how I might set this up to include some chores for me and some for my kids… so many good ideas!

Hi! For monthlies that you want on the same date each month, you can backfile behind the last date card once completed. Just check when you move today's date card to the back that you place it behind them.

I watched a video with Pam Young, one of the authors of the S.H.E. book, and she said once your card becomes a remembered habit, you can throw the card out. So the goal is also accumulating less cards as you build good habits.❤

Quick question. For example: dishwashing. That's something that needs to be done daily. Will I be making 31 cards that will read "do dishes"?

I was confused by that too. You only make a card once but you remove it to the following day once you completed it. for example if it’s Monday and you completed the dishwashing card, you would then file it on Tuesday. You make the cards once and then file them so they can be repeated.

I have two dish washing tasks as i get bored. And Two put away dishes. I also put haircut, and shave in the box.
