Ugh, so annoying that we have to accept people's delusions as reality. Imagine if we treated schizophrenics this way, "The voices are telling you to cut off your left arm? You probably should then." It is insanity.
Well we don’t treat schizophrenics that way for the obvious reason you pointed out… Saying “Imagine if…” as if you’re making some argument about reality is silly.

Accept it's not a delusion. Maybe in your outdated world view but i don't think doctor's and the scientific field would support an actual delusion
