totally agree with Chris. Disney made sure they set SW on the Marvel organizational plan, so I assume anything they put out will be decent if not really good. I'm loving how they are diversifying their IP through collabs.
I don't think Lucasfilm is making three blockbuster movies a year, so no, not really
Episode 4 is by far the most beautiful one in this series...such good soundtrack

Slugs have both reproductive organs, and they are behind their heads. Leopard slugs do a very unusual dance where they spiral around together and hang from a slime rope, and then their organs bloom out and wrap around each other like a big, light-blue umbrella. Super weird.
I'm sure the Huttese way is even weirder.
the Hutts were hermaphrodites in Legends, but nothing in Clone Wars and later canon really picked that up, which I get
this episode brought back memories when i first saw Beck anime and was introduce to the intro called hit in the usa by beat crusaders....
Chris, this was the controversial episode people didn't like.
The reason so many hardcore Star Wars fans talk about how badass Boba Fett is is because of the books and comics. The Mandalorian just brought that badassness to live action.
His original popularity (when the movies were coming out) is from the marketing and the toys. He just looked cool. The books and comics happened because he was popular already, despite not doing much in the movies.
Suraj if you’re gonna watch anything in the dub then a Ghibli film is perfectly fine. They have some of the best dubs in all of anime
the English dub for Mob Psycho is really good too

Fun voice acting fact about Star Wars Visions is that the VA for Hinata in Naruto (Stephanie Sheh) is a voice director and voice castor for this series. Disney needed some anime expertise for this one! lol

Boba Fett’s pre Mandalorian reputation mostly came from books, comics, and games
15:00 letting you know for subtitles/closed captions by Disney, Netflix and hbo it’s word to word from the English cast. So whatever words the English cast say is used for subs/CC if watch in any foreign language be natural or dubbed.
Hence for sure you must have heard at few points why ppl aren’t fan of English subs enabled for Netflix animes do to that.
Netflix usually doesn't do that. Netflix usually has actual subs and no Closed Captions for anime. It gives a lot of trouble to people who need Closed Captions.
And Netflix seems adamant to only do either subs or CCs, the concept of having two separate tracks for that fucking escapes them. Sad to see Disney+ and HBO are the same (only favoring CC instead of a translation).
@@42Caio okay if so then fine. i remember years ago this was discussed with ppl on how netflix did subs/cc unless since then to now they updated how they do them.

Episode 2 is by Studio Colorido. They worked on Pokémon: Twilight Wings and Burn the Witch.

I have watched the whole season, but in English. For the English version of this episode, they brought back Temuera Morrison to voice Boba Fett.
Its definitely him I heard it instantly thought it was pretty cool
Fun fact: The Japanese voice actor who did the voice for Jay, the singer, is the same guy who voices Present Mic from My Hero

Solo being good is not very controversial... but even though it feels the most classic Star Wars, Rogue One is a bit better
Concerning Boba Fett... the mate is badass because of all his appearances in now Legends content; Comics, Games & Books... and of course optics, but not because of Return of the Jedi 😅

How can they tie The Book of Boba Fett into the Obi Wan show if Obi is already a Force ghost by that point?
This is a stretch, I know, but I’m assuming Boba Fett was still alive while Obi-Wan was on Tatooine. I’m also assuming, and again this is a stretch, that Boba Fett worked for Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine. I also think perhaps the Tatooine Obi was on and the Tatooine Jabba was on is in fact the same Tatooine. I could be wrong though. It’s not like there’s any official source material around these crazy theories of mine.

@@c.a.honeycutt5046 only problem with your sarcastic comment is that Book of Boba Fett is most likely set AFTER The Mandalorian, so a couple of years after Ep.6, while Obi Wans show will be set between Ep.3 and Ep.4. Flashback will certainly be a possibility but yeah.
@@datzfatz2368 Maybe or maybe not on the flashbacks. My point was that we could see Boba in the Obi-Wan show. I just don't see how it would be difficult for them to creatively connect the two characters at any point given they're time on the same exact planet.

I know everyone has their preference, but I personally think if you are a native English speaker as opposed to Japanese this show might be more enjoyable if you watched the dub. Just because all the beautiful animation and artistry involved is so fantastic, I would personally not want to be reading and more using my eyes to take in the imagery on the screen. Just my two cents though.

I havent been looking at much discussion of Visions tbf, but i really thought Ep.3 would be one of the more uncontroversail ones, since we are all aware that this shit isnt canon and just a venue to go creative and batshit crazy and stupid in studio Triggers case (which they always do lul). right?

@@mr.pheasant638 yeah but again, this stuff isnt canon while flying Leia was supposed to be. This short is supposed to be wacky and over the top bullshit, an audio visual spectacle first and foremost. I dont get how someone can see the first couple of minutes of this episode and think: "Oh yes this is going to be very down to earth and canon compliant" just based on the artstyle, voiceacting and gesturing of the characters alone. Its obvious that this is going to be silly.
And hey, if I had to argue for it, there are plenty of species in the star wars universe that can live in open space without suits, and the twins are gentically engineered with dark side shenannigens, so who knows what material got used for that/what they are capable of^^

the first one was not even close to a Wilhelm. the second one WAS a Wilhelm. even when given the difference within seconds of eachother they still didn't retract calling the first one a Wilhelm. amateurs.

Whether you guys prefer dub or sub, reaction videos tend to flow/work better when you react to dub in my opinion (or just stick to the same language your audience speaks). Makes for better content, just a suggestion.

The English dub is really not good… the English version of the song is sung so terribly..
Getting famous names doesn't make for a good dub, it's the casting and direction that makes for a good dub.
For example Neil Patrick Harris wasn't that great in the ep 3 of Visions. His voice just didn't fit the character he played.

@@Thenormies Well i mean it's called visions so I'd imagine the studios behind it had certain ideas for casting so the dub kinda defeats the purpose of getting their actual vision at least that's how I see it its not about the dub being good or bad

This was an Okay episode But there was literally *NO* point of the main character being a former Jedi at all the character could have been literally nobody & the Story Would Have Still Been The Same like Seriously What Was the Point?
I agree of all the episodes this one was personally my least favorite of them all.

Alley okay if that's the point they didn't really illustrate that very well we didn't have one internal monologue or him saying anything of the sort of that nature and again if that's the case I think that's pretty cool & interesting but again I don't think they Illustrated at very well if that was the point
I kind of wonder if there was a short list of Things Disney Mandated, that each studio had to do in an episode, and "have a lightsaber" was one, and this studio just brushed close enough?
@Author B.L. Alley I interpreted the episode a bit differently. Jay's first instinct to the crisis is to respond as a Jedi. He grabs his lightsaber and is ready to fight Boba Fett to save Gee. But he fails, gets frustrated with his powerlessness, and has the epiphany that they're "just a band." He's no longer a Jedi out to fight evil with his lightsaber. He's a vocalist in a band, and that's how he can save his friend. So he lets go of his lightsaber being a lightsaber, turns it into "just a mic," and leads the band to confront Jabba in the way that only a band can.
