H50 Freak Totally agree, I did like Gabby too, until she stood him up at the airport without bothering to let him know she would not be coming because her job was more important..and then she got another job offer and she was thinking of taking it..it became pretty clear her job would always be more important, that's why Danny did the right thing in ending the relationship because it would also have not been fair on Grace.
Danny's girlfriend was lucky not getting dumped by him after finding out her real name is Melissa and that she came to Hawaii to start over after her husband abused her. It was good that Danny forgave her after he risked his life to save her and then she saved him by stopping her husband's last act of revenge by running the car into him as she was getting Danny to the hospital.
It would’ve been horrible if he did. First off he is a cop who has seen abused women so he totally understands why she changed her name and didn't say anything. The safest thing is one of the reasons why women don't leave abusive partners bc they are too afraid too or that their abuser will find them and kill them or the police won't believe them bc some women use abuse to get something.
I like Melissa aka amber with him I just don't like how they keep mentioning the ex wife how they probably wanna reconcile I hope they finally divorce and just coparenting he moves on with Melissa she's the best thing that ever happened to Danni
