    I'm kind of disappointed with the Hanger decoration stuff as what they showed kind of feels misleading you cant stack more then 1 box on another with out the physics freaking out.

      Yeah I've heard putting items on tables is pretty bad too with jittering that eventually throws them off. Really hope they can fix that before live.

    Here's two rewards idea that can be found In Pyro (either in contested zone or somewhere else):
    - A Falsify Diplomatic Immunity: This can get you out of prison immediately. If you unlock this reward you can use it when you wake up at Klesher and activate it on the screen of your cell and it will reduce your prison time to zero. This reward dissappear after it's use.
    - The Contact of a Corrupted Advocaty Agent: This can reduce your current Crime Stat by 1 level or reduce it back to zero. If you unlock this reward, you can use it from your Mobiglas as soon as you have a Crim Stat and make it lower or disappear. When you use it once the Agent change his contact to not be traced so you can't use the reward again. (have to find a new one)
    Those kind of rewards must be rare and cannot be accumulated (Don t wait to have a player that can reduce his Crime Stat 10 times in a row)
    It will be useful for unlawful/pirate player and can motivate them to try some excursion from Pyro to Stanton and lawful player

    My favorite part of this update is that I can now spawn in my hab remove any gear and suicide so I respawn In my medivac that's sitting in my hanger, loot back up at the terminal and I've saved a bunch of time getting to my hanger :) while my ship is coming up on the elevator I loot up and am ready to go in no time!

    The personal hangars desperately need to be cleared out of all the static set dressing thats taking up the small amount of usable space on the sidelines.
    Give me clear uncluttered spaces, and ill make it pretty/useful myself.

    Exploration might be tied to discovering crafting items or hunting for crafting items like in caves. I can see them adding a player market where people are looking for crafting items and explorers hunting for items to fulfill those orders. Like in caves... i cant wait for them to tie things together

    I'm at 20+ hours in Wave 1. I'm seriously disappointed that this is where the patch is when it was "so close" just before 3.23. Months later we are still fixing major game breaking bugs (hangar doors, queues). I understand that performance issues and bugs can rear their head when shifting to PTU from internal dev, but to say it was "so close" when it missed. I guess chad did say "not six months" to get it in. That should have been my clue I guess that it was in a much worse state than implied.

  • @KarlBarbosa

    Odd ... I too seem to remember CIG stating that Pyro station items would be rep locked once it goes live. Alas, I don't remember where.

  • @bnut1979

    Look at hauling missions through the lense of someone who paid $45 to get into the game and doesn't want to spend anymore. They chose the Aurora MR package and that ship has 0 SCU of cargo. How long will it take that person to earn a ship large enough to do even the first starter hauler mission? Once they have, lets say, a Hull-A. How many Extra Small/Small/Medium hauling missions will they need to grind to afford another ship for the next tier of missions? It seems SUPER grindy. There needs to be some other rewards other than just aUEC to make it worthwhile and give a sense of personal progression.

    • @AnswerTheCallSC
      @AnswerTheCallSC  Před měsícem +1

      That’s my argument, and I think “courier” missions should be for the Aurora bros, but yes their progression systems don’t seem to reward the players well just yet, but I would rather them over compensate now and slowly give back until it feels right.

    contested zones remind me of the dark zone in the division. That game and that mechanic were fun so I like the idea of it in SC. Like everything else I think server meshing will determine if it actually works or if it is a buggy mess.

    we know they're adding more gear and guns in the game and there's gonna be blueprints in the game. just play the game there was a guy carrying a crate out of the zone. and we know there's items only available in pyro. we know there will eventually be missions in the contested zone and we know rep with factions will get you access to more areas and equipment. plus it could just be a farm for small parts and components for crafting mats. the contested zone itself is more important than loot. making a fun area for good pvp is more important than if you get a helmet, or money to buy a helmet. i want the game to be fun more than i want cool stuff.

  • @pawe6199
    @pawe6199 Před měsícem

    The hill I'm gonna die on is that CIG can't give me interesting rewards because there is no actual fully fledged itemisation. We're gonna get either money or a useless gun (50 other guns which will work just as good hence 51th is useless) or some stupid cosmetic trinket I do not care about.

    My thing with the contested zones: the reward that is there MUST fit a lore reason for the reward to be there. What would a derelict space station give that gets better the longer someone is in a room that needs a keycard. Data about locations? Are they teasing data running?

    • @tomificated
      @tomificated Před měsícem

      If the reward is “Data running mechanic”, it includes homestead locations, blueprints for crafting, mine locations, wreck locations with valuable resources it would fit with the lore reason for the location.
      Data running is the only reward mechanic that outlives any single reward.
      Data running also makes sense to introduce with server meshing and jump points.

    I’m seeing 3.24 as the piracy / loot nerf patch. I’m struggling to see how many haulers will take the time to manually load/unload their large freighter ships, and now with the RMC supply nerf at the outposts, there’ll be practically zero opportunity to pirate traders. Looting with no local inventory, will limit your items to the size of your backpack.

    • @Venhili
      @Venhili Před měsícem +3

      That's not a bad thing. Pirates have had it far too easy far too long. Pirates should struggle to live in Stanton

    • @LucidStrike
      @LucidStrike Před měsícem +1

      Lots of people who were hauling weren't REALLY haulers in the SC sense, which is to say they were never gonna commit to Hauling as Intended, only the easier, less immersive stop-gap we had up until now. 🤷🏿‍♂️

      @bedner23 Před měsícem

      Im actually a hauler and am very much looking forward to this patch. I hope there are others like me looking towards the chill gameplay. Pirates do ruin the fun for me though, not because they take my stuff but they just blow up your ship. No roleplay, no warnings.@LucidStrike

      Right. So carry a big backpack. Wdym no opportunity to pirate traders? Interdiction is a thing, hauling contracts have sellable cargo.
      If the first thing you do is shoot and not negotiate or threaten for release of cargo, you're a terrorist not a thief. Play the role, it's not that much to ask.
      Sorry piracy is difficult, you could always just get a real job. :P

    Contested Zones are a missed opportunity! IMAGINE... there are only 5 contested zones and they are the new asteroid bases. You sign up with a faction which puts a (tag) on the player account. This lets you buy a faction specific tiger claw. You go and hack into the station like SPK, takes 15 min and alert goes out that X faction is capturing Z contested zone, then boom, station is now owned by your pirate faction and you can NOW do refueling on that factions stations. The more you own the cheaper it is. If your faction doesn't own any, than there are no refueling services. Also the contested asteroid bases "consume" mined or salvaged resources to keep functioning because they are poorly maintained or whatever lore reason you wanna use.
    I feel like this will just get better as well over time with more rewards for taking it or holding it and also as player server count goes up. This pushes conflict and pvp and with the faction tags, even if you are solo and not in an Org you now basically can group up with members of your faction and still do meaningful PvP. PvE players have a purpose in Pyro as well because they need to keep their contested zones "fueled".
    These are all mechanics that already exists in the game for the most part of than the faction tagging on the player account that marks them part of a faction.
