Peter Kays observation of different scenarios are very true in Northern towns in the UK.Venues are a working mens clubs or a hired hall.most of the top comedians are from the North and that Bolton accent really does it for me........Have you seen Peter Kay on Funerals?

Really funny Peter is now back on Tour in the UK after being absent for a number of years!
Yes the sprinkler is global, tried it with a slide once at a mates wedding in NZ and lost a shoe and caught a few bruises. I hate weddings generally unless it's part of my close group of childhood mates because it's an opportunity to destroy the bar tab, get a meal and they have to pay for it!
His most famous joke is "GARLIC BREAD?", a joke originally about how closed minded his dad is with food.
He's said more recently whenever he visits restaurants that serve garlic bread they always send him a free garlic bread, so he's joked he wants to change his catchphrase to "PLASMA TV" 😂
He then managed to sneak "garlic bread" into phoenix nights as well 😂
I used to work at a place that had monthly ice cream specials. One month they had a New York Blueberry Cheese Cake flavored one. Best ice cream flavor I ever had.

Peter Kay is from Bolton in the North West of England, not far from Manchester. I grew up in Lancashire, same region (proud cricketing county). At every big event such as a wedding or significant birthday there would be a point in the evening where there would go up a cry of “THE PIE’S HERE!”, which heralded the arrival of a meat & potato pie served with mushy peas and pickled red cabbage. Sounds odd but trust me: best. food. ever. … After some beers.

I was the kid who sat there and watched other people. I mean everyone. Then I would encourage other kids to do things. Just to see if they got in trouble.
Help yourself buffets, are the thing for the UK (all paid for, basically not throwing things in the bin and wasting it). As a lad you, would get things that your dad would like and go back for your own. A normal thing in the north of England. Kinda shows respect at the same time.

The first cheesecake I ever ate I bought from a butcher's shop, the butcher's wife made them, lovely. Unfortunately it was when the Supermarkets were invading, nothing tastes the same, everything is so bland tasting.

I'm deaf, so dancing is a no go for me. I hate weddings so much that my own had eight people attending, including us, then onto a pub. I didn't bother to buy a wedding dress, I think we spent around £150/£200 in total. We left by 3pm. Not to go on honeymoon. No. I had a migraine so it was home, meds, bed. Goodnight Vienna. 👍😫👍

i love jodi's reactions to this she really was enjoying it even dancing at one point but then look at nick and nothing just a blank look on his face with a little grin we do need more emotion from you nick if i was to rate you both i would give you nick a 4 out of 10 and jodi you get a perfect 10 so there is no wonder why this is called boring reviews nick
I completely disagree and not sure what more you want?! Nick smiles throughout. You don't have to find every single thing funny to give a good reaction. Yes, Jodi laughs more overall but Nick still laughs plenty, sometimes at bits Jodi doesn't laugh at, and he makes a lot of comments. Different people will find different things funny. I think they make a great team.
