  • In this video, I will provide step-by-step instructions on creating a small, unique applique quilt design featuring birds and leaves based on your own drawing.
    I'll show you how to transform your initial sketch into a workable design and provide the materials you'll need to bring it to life.
    This design is perfect for those who want to add a personal touch to their quilts. It's easy to create, even for beginners.

    Inktense pencils are dyes and completely permanent with no change in the hand of the fabric. Once you discover drawing on fabrics, there’s no end to your creativity!

    Fabulous! I've used ink to make fabric labels, but now you've inspired me to experiment with the markers I have lying around. Thank you for sharing!

    WOW, how beautifully colorful and whimsical. Im eager to watch more of your videos. I wonder if you can elaborate on why you are staying at home? "at this time of tragedy"., Sounds like the C-19 scenario. Im not sure what country you are in to try and find out. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

    Beautiful! I like all of your designs but especially the fish and birds. Your pieces are SO vibrant and colorful! Free-motion quilting is fun! Your borders are very fine without the satin-stitching and with the single line stitching. That takes more focus and effort but, I think, less time. Thank for sharing!

    Hello Pam, Thank you for your video. I'm in Sydney Australia and I've search for Japara. I found Japara sheeting at Spotlight with the description "Japara 280 cm Cotton Sheeting Natural", is this similar to the Japara you mention in your video? Do you have a favourite supplier of the fabric in Australia?

    Im missing a step from partially complete to finish. Are you sewing? Cutting? Ironing? Im afraid I need to see that step...

    • @PamHolland-le8cc
      @PamHolland-le8cc  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Once you have fused the illustrations, cut them out and fuse them to your back ground piece. You can stitch them in any form. However, I used free motion on the machine and stitched through the three layers with a black 50-weight thread. You can stitch them however you like.
